Review: They do the job and fit nicely. Very crudely cut but you get what you pay for with this. Review: What did I think of the item? Umm I think that is was a weight it described amount. It’s a fine weight but it didn’t change the world oh and did I mention it was a weight b weighed what was described but as far as weights go I say 5 star

You get what you pay for Pros: - Price is cheap Cons: - Product is cheap(Extremely poor quality) - Expensive if you have to buy a few - You WILL have to fix the product once you get it So, it's getting warm outside, I'm a little pudgy from the winter season. I'm thinking about getting in shape. I finally convinced the boss(wife) to let me buy some workout equipment and it's off to Amazon I go!!! I bought these for a gym I'm putting together in my garage. I purchased the following: 45lbs x 2 35lbs x 2 25lbs x 2 10lbs x 4 5lbs x 4 Yeah, I was looking for a good price. I wasn't buying this for a commercial gym. I was looking for the biggest bang for my buck. That my friends was a mistake. If all you want is the cheapest things you can get your hands on...this is a winner. If you want something quality that requires zero work to be usable, look elsewhere. So what's all the fuss? They arrive in the mail and I'm all excited and I open one box. Its one of the 4 5lbs plates I bought. As I'm looking at it I pause..."Whoah, wait a second...that has a spur in the center hole and a pretty big pit too. They can't all be like that though." Open box 2...WTF...same thing. Box 3...repeat nightmare...Box 4...say it ain't so. EVERY SINGLE ONE had spurs on the center hole. Most of them so bad that they wouldn't fit onto my weight bar. What did I have to do? I'll tell you. I had to file and sand every single plate I purchased to smooth out or grind away the flaws. It took me two hours. I don't like to do ANYTHING for two hours, especially after spending hundreds of dollars on something. Oh and the stupid Made in China stickers on the back. I had to remove those as well. That was a pain too. They didn't come off easy so I had to scrape them off. Again, I knew these were made in China which means they'll be crap because everything China makes is poor quality crap, BUT I didn't expect to have to "fix" the product to make them work. Now I've purchased a weight tower that I really like to hold these plates and CAP was the name brand. However, after this experience, I'm NEVER going to buy another CAP product again. The quality of this product was so poor, the only reasonable explanation I can come up with is CAP just doesn't care about quality. So...avoid em. I've included some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about. Spend the extra money and get something better. You won't be sorry.

Iron plates aren’t cheap, usually go to 4$ a pound and these are dirt cheap I cost, but quality wise they’re pretty good but mine did come with some heaven burs or steel on the inside ring which if I didn’t catch the would’ve ripped some deep gouges out of my 400$ bar lol needless to say they’re cheap for a reason right? But the weights right….just have to run a dremel over the rough spots

You can’t go wrong for the price, especially when they’re on sale.
