Firu-Handmade Women Vintage Style Genuine Leather Crossbody Satchel Bag Handmade Purse

I'm very happy with the purchase of my new leather bag. The strap measures 56" in total length I figured out that I would wear it about 40" so that would be a fantastic length to wear as a crossbody for me. I'm 5'7". I love the contrast of color and the smell of leather. Each one of these bags will be individual as a person. I lucked out because I like the worn look of it already. I'm officially making this my Fall/Winter bag. I like to have just a few bags that can be versatile and useful for each season. I recommend that you use a leather conditioner on it, especially the strap, because you don't want it to dry out. I haven't done mine yet and was going to wait to show pictures after it was done, but instead I'll wait and add those later. This bag measures 9" in height and 11" wide. It's a perfect bag for any average sized woman. I can say it almost has a hippy, throwback feel to it. I might bring it to my local shoemaker and see if he can put some feet on it. That would be the only thing it lacks. Otherwise, I can't complain about anything. Price vs value, I recommend 100%. EDIT: : ( I've started using this bag everyday since Sept 6. Omgosh, lots of compliments but not so great in the long run. Lucky I'm handy. First to go, was a rip in the lining within 1st week. Glued it. 2nd ~had to glue down the clasp on the very front to keep it from not falling out. After it dried, I gave it a wack with a hammer to the back to tighten it up, it's good now. 3d problem~ the strap keeps unlocking from the holes that cover over the top of the bag. Unfortunately for me, I glued it back together WRONG! I will fix it again but it's only January and I'm not certain how long this bag will actually last given all the problems I've had with it. I still like it. I'm careful about what goes in it just because I'm afraid I might break a strap. I'm going to be proactive and keep glue with me. (pic 8) It's only been 4 months, with covid I don't really use it everywhere I go. Take this into consideration when buying. Caveat Emptor~(Let the buyer beware) I'm getting down to 2 stars...

After reading some reviews, I wondered about this purse. But I'm so glad I took a chance on it. It's a lovely midsized bag, and can fit more than you'd think. Some say the smell was bad -- mine just smelled like clean, new leather, and quite mild. It seems beautifully made. The leather is slightly stiff because it's new, but it's still supple and I know it will soften with use. The top flap and front pocket flap are leather lined, and the lining inside the bag is a very pretty and substantial green canvas. Each buckle and zipper pull was carefully wrapped. The outside zip pocket holds my phone, and the smaller one on the front is great for keys. The two zip pockets and card holders inside make it great for organizing small items. I really love the style of the bag. It's kind of retro yet classic, and its simple lines show off the leather shading. I found the strap a bit long for how I carry a bag, so I braided it as the photo shows, and it's perfect. Don't hesitate to give this beautiful bag a try.

I LOVE this bag. I have NEVER chosen to wear a purse before, but I’ve had this one for a year+, and it’s absolutely perfect. A perfect blend between whimsical, pragmatic, and mature. I can live out my high fantasy D&D renaissance faire dreams AND take it to the county rodeo the next day, and it fits in either way. Be forewarned: it is VERY orange (Will include pictures), and there is not as extreme color variation as the advertised photo shows. The one I got didn’t look a thing like the photo aside from the style. I debated returning it, but decided to give it a leather conditioner bath and stuff it with newspaper (highly recommend) for a day or two and that helped. Age has also made it darker, so it’s still red-orange and not brown, but tastefully so. It also ages like leather does, so prepare for it getting some wrinkles and stretch marks, as all good things do. Leather didn’t have any marks on arrival. Definitely genuine leather — I think the care paper said it was goat. Zippers are aligned well and don’t snag, the fastenings are sturdy. The interior liner does like to lose threads along edges, but they’re easily snipped off. Never got any holes in it. Just the right amount of room; I can snugly fit a legal size notepad in the interior side pockets. A Kindle or small paperback would have no problem in it. I really like the look of the purse and, for the price, I think this purse is pretty well made. I've had it for 6 months or more and it is not showing any wear. Even though the leather seems pretty thin, the purse is very sturdy as it seems to have a coated duck canvas fabric which lines the inside. For me, the inside pockets are well designed so there are a lot of places to organize all of your stuff. The leather seems to be coated in some kind of oil and the odor sounded like it was an issue for some, but I do not have a problem with it (it smells like a leather shop). I do have two issues with the purse (the reason I rated it a 4 star for sturdiness and craftsmanship): 1) It seems like the front buckle was installed upside down. The metal center bar pin on the buckle occasionally catches on things (because it's facing up) and the bar that the bar pin rests on flops down. I thought it was a mistake at first, but the picture on Amazon shows it this way. Not enough to send the piece back, but I have thought about going somewhere to have it fixed. (If the manufacturers read this review, please consider sending me a front buckle re-oriented ;) 2) The shoulder strap is adjustable, which I like, but the extra piece just kind of flops around. I ended up knotting the end of the strap so it doesn't flop. All around, I think it's a good purse for the price.

I absolutely love this bag!!!! Naturally beautiful leather, grateful for the goat❤️🙏, I needed a medium size, quality bag. I love the extra pockets inside and outside to organize my wallet, keys, phone, lipstick, powder, cloves & lighter, with tissues all fits!!! With extra room!! Pocket for cards inside. Buckles on strap, and purse front buckles if you need your bag’s adjustments!!! I love the little defects, making unique. Reasonable price. I love this bag, and will grow softer with age… just beautiful. The pocket’s all have (a lot) have nice linings. I’m going to use my leather conditioner, and protect this bag. I’m sure will last very, very long. And the security is great too. :)

The bag is beautiful. It reminds me of something from a movie with forest elves collecting things from the forest floor. The design gives it a whimsy vibe. The ONLY downside to this bag is the smell. It smells like a filthy barn that needs to be mucked in the middle of July after a downpour. And I grew up on a horse farm. I’ve let this bag sit out since I got it a couple weeks ago. I’m not sure what their tanning method is but omg it’s terrible. Maybe sun tanning meant they left the hide out in the pasture while all the still alive goats trampled and defecated on it. It smells like the floor of a filthy stall. Like goat manure. Straight up goat manure. It’s getting better but it still smells too bad to use. If the smell doesn’t get tolerable by next week I’m returning it. And that makes me sad cause I LOVE the bag so much, but it doesn’t help me if I can’t use it. I’m going to try a baking soda box inside a box to see if that helps?

I absolutely LOVE this bag!!! It was delivered early this morning - wrapped in a clear plastic bag- which I wasn’t terribly impressed with - however, once all the wrappings came off I was thrilled with both the quality & size of this bag! The style is gorgeous, and it looks to be the perfect size for hauling around my most necessary items. I wanted a mid-size leather crossbody bag with deep pockets and this ticks all the boxes! Some reviews have complained of a smell, but I didn’t notice one, beyond the regular “leather smell” - which I quite like.. The shoulder straps are a bit stiff, but they’ll soften over time. It came with a leaflet regarding appropriate care, which was a nice addition. Everything considered ( including a great price) - this is a wonderful deal! I’m looking forward to using it right away! It really is a gorgeous bag ! The hardware seems adequate for the job, and it’s attractive. The bag is not super heavy and sits across my shoulder quite comfortably. I will definitely recommend this lovely purse!

Very pleased with bag. Just what i needed

I love this bag looks way more expensive then it really is. I had this kind of bag for years ( from another seller) but it was too small , wanted to go up a size and this bag is just right. Not too big not too small. It was a bit stiff at first but had it a week now and it gets softer each day but is keeping its shape well which my old one didn’t. No horrible smell( old one stunk for ages) My one complaint is the strap buckle. It’s in the wrong place. This means when worn as a cross body bag , the metal buckle digs in to your shoulder. Now this is not a problem if you haven’t got heavy things in bag but if you do will be uncomfortable. Doesn’t seem to be so much of an issue when wearing it as a shoulder bag. If sellers could just move the strap buckle down a bit it would be perfect. I would still recommend this bag . Will need to waterproof as I don’t think it is. Looks really nice so much room lots of compartments . Love it definitely value for money.

WOW! WOW! WOW! If I'd known how much I would love this purse, I would have bought it months ago. It's well crafted, very sturdy and holds everything I need. The level of organization is amazing. I can find everything super easily. I'm thrilled to finally have a purse that is durable, well organized and looks great. 🙌

I have found the perfect bag for me. Definately real leather, has that wonderful leather scent. Lots of pockets and card slots within. Roomy enough to carry a clutch wallet, cell phone and many other items. The only issue is that with packaging, the gusset is crushed down to flatten the bag and the wrinkles will take a little conditioning and stretching but the marks give the bag character. Bit also came with an additional closure. Overall, this really is a great saddle bag for those who don't need to carry kitchen sinks.
