I really like the white because it matches more with the color of my bathtub and looks more clean cut then clear. I did have a little bit of issues with the suction cups. They did stick down, but they didn't automatically stick down when I put the mat in my tub. I had to use my hand to press on them individually and then they suctioned right away. The instructions suggest stepping on it for them to work, but it didn't seem to do an excellent job, so I still had to press on them. The mat feels at first like you might slip on it, but you don't. I had foot surgery and have been very careful with my foot, so I lost a lot of traction on the bottom of my one foot. I could not stand in my tub because I would always slip. This mat prevents me from slipping at all. The mat comes up very easily when I'm removing it. I'm very excited that I can wash it and it doesn't require me to hang and dry after every use, so I'm very thrilled about that. I wish it was a little easier for the suction cups to adhere when you put it in, but I'm glad they stay once you do put them down and push them into place. It seems like it will last for a long time and is very good quality.

Excellent bath mat!! Long lasting and sturdy. This is the second one of these that we have purchased. The suction works exactly as it should so the mat never moves. It prevents slips in the tub and shower. Fits perfectly.

Although it isn't exactly gripping the tub (mine has a lightly textured surface), the mat still stays in place and provides an extra amount of security from slippage that I appreciate. Due to my >200 lb weight, it isn't going to slide around under my feet in normal use conditions. I am aware that it isn't gripping with the suction cups as it would in a non-textured tub, but it still provides a nice cushioned surface under my feet that has yet to show any signs of shifting laterally when I'm standing on it. If you have a smooth surfaced tub it will adhere. At any rate, I don't regret the purchase.

After slipping and falling in my shower multiple times recently, I decided I needed to find something that would give me a better footing. The bathtub was so slippery that I was sliding, and my feet would just come out from under me. I am pleased with this mat. It is the perfect size for my tub and comfortable to stand on. I don't feel like I'm sliding around or having to use my toes to keep a grip on the bottom of the tub anymore. I feel safer and can shower when I'm home alone now.
