Although the Boston-style shakers seem more popularism bars these days, I think the Parisian kettle style is both safer - especially for a beginner who may risk shaking themselves a face full of spirits and ice - and more effective in mixing the ingredients. This item seems decent quality for the price and arrived fairly promptly
