I have bought several of these and they are very good. I have also bought some similar Multi Wall sockets that were twice as expensive and they are just the same. Really good build quality. Thank you Amazon, 1st class product!

I saw these universal socket plates which would help enormously when family members from all over the world come and visit. Great idea and they were installed a short time after receiving them. I was pleased with the results at first as it saves trying to find adapters for the various plug types when we have visitors.However, less that 48 hours after installation, when a plug was removed, this is what happened…see above! Not happy at all as it’s very very dangerous as live parts were exposed. I contacted Amazon who said there is nothing that they can do and I have to contact the seller. I have done this twice so far in the last few days, but prior to writing this review and there is no response. Amazon have basically said ‘tough luck’. So I am down monetary wise and without a universal socket (does not bother me too much as I have had a new one fitted but with USB). It’s annoying that there is no help for Amazon customers, from Amazon, if something like this happens and no response from the seller which I am extremely disappointed with.

Perfect, fit for purpose and all types of plugs

I have 2 of these know purchased at the same time. the sockets are great and feel solid, the only problem i have is you have to have both sockets switched on to power the usb sockets and it takes over 7 hours to charge my galaxy note 10+ from 47% to 89% If i use and add on charger like a wireless to attach to the usb it will not charge any phoneI have tried it on both sockets and it is the same.I have informed the company that sold me these and they are willing to either refund half the amount and keep the ones i have or just replace them as they think it could be due to packaging and delivery and still keep the original ones.I will update once received.Which brings me onto the packaging, it arrived in a unlined plastic bag with no protection at all and the sockets were inside again in a clear plastic bag so can easily get damaged, I think they need to look at there packing procedure as it is very unsubstantial.

It is very flimsy and doesn't feel like you would expect for the price.The USB sockets are not independent and you have to switch the plug socket on for them to work.

Not British standard electrician would not fit

The universal idea is great, USB’s are rated 2.1A. Package arrived with one of the red led covers popped out, but pushed it back in. When installing, the cover plate clips over the wall mounting screws so good chance the clips will break if you need to pop the cover off. Worst is the screws for tightening the connections. They strip with very little force applied. Only time will tell how well it performs

The LED red cover, one was missing, and the other was broken. went ahead and installed it, but it did not work. Seems the whole item is junk. It is cheap China-made item.
