The product is great. I always buy the XL for it's longevity. The problem I had is the supplier. They sent me the wrong color (yellow). It is too much of a hassle to return the product so, I am keeping it and will get a different supplier for the color I asked for.

This cartridge is on the expensive side but performs better than the non-HP cartridges. They fit properly in my printer and there is no problem registering with the printer. The cartridge works as expected and does clog up not like other non HP brands. You get what you pay for, trouble free usage.

All I can say is that I have simply never had a problem with genuine HP ink. No damaged cartridges. No leaks. No streaks. No drying out. I've been tempted to try the off brands to save money, but from what I can tell, it's a crap shoot as to whether you'll get a high quality cartridge, with high quality ink, that won't give you problems at some point. I'd rather stick with what has always worked reliably for me. The XL cartridges do last a long time too. . I have 3 HP printers in my home network (one for each floor so we're not having to run upstairs or downstairs to print), and I keep a stash of ink cartridges so I never run out. Works for me.

We have not been able to connect the printer to our wifi

I received a cartridge that was past its expiration date long before I placed my order. My printer says it is too old to use. Due to my usual practice of purchasing ink in advance, I didn't immediately notice the issue, and now the return window has closed.
