Are all 3 metal colors nickel free?

Stainless Steel has Nickel in the composition. Look up stainless steel elemental composition. There are several variations of stainless steel and they each have a different amount of Nickel. It is usually non-reactive and safe but extreme Nickel allergies may find their bodies still react. Also, short term skin contact is different than things like ear ring studs etc.

Can additional replacement pads be purchased without an extra eyelash curler?

My understanding is yes. It comes with a replacement and they offer you another free set or a tweezer when you get it.

Is this eyelash curler as good as the she umera or shseido eyelash curler?

Honestly, neither Shu Uemura or Sheseido were good for me....the first was too curved and the second not curved enough. It's hard to find the right fit!

Does it work well on Asian lashes? Mine are pretty straight and short

It does work well for my eyelashes that are straight and short. However, it’s too wide and curved for my eyes. If you have more flat Asian eyes, it’s harder to get the eyelashes at the ends of your eyes.
