Buy this!!! You won't regret it.
I purchased this as an upgrade from my rock crawlers, and I absolutely love it. It's so stable, it's so steady. And it's fast enough for my taste. It's the kind of speed that is just right. I have no complaints. I don't think you will either. And I'm only running on a 5200 3s battery right now. I am sure that it will be much faster on a 4S.

Simply the Best for the Price
I own many RC cars from Arrma and Traxxas. Bought this Losi Lasernut and loved it so much that I bought one for my friend also. Detail, performance and feel is professional. This is my top choice if I had to choose one for everything.

Chrome don’t get you home, don’t fall for the pretty box.
When it’s new this car handles like a Cadillac. Smooth as butter. BUT.... there’s always a butt. Do not get this with the intention of doing any form of bashing, jumping or being rough with it because it cannot handle the abuse. You’ll be searching for parts on the internet just to find there isn’t any made for it and you have to buy them for a different losi and hope they fit. The first picture is of the gear is what has happened. I was making laps on my track and hit one of the 12” high jumps. The car lands on the spare wheel and apparently strips the diff gears. Not only that it came to my door with a bushing missing on the steering drag link so the front tire wobbled bad. I did a lot of research and watched a lot of videos before I made this purchase and let me just say that they cannot do what the demo video portrays (jumping over a full scale rock racer) my jumps are 12” tall and it couldn’t handle it. In my opinion it’s false advertisement claiming to able to do all kinds of stuff. Even the name suggests it’s a rock racer. The diff gears stripped so easy it wouldn’t be racing long plus without some guards on the rear swing arm it covers the shocks and suspension with debris, once it does that you’ll find the small gap between the hinge pins and frame where gravel and such gets caught binding up the suspension and it’s travel. The front tires sling debris directly into the electronics when turning because they mounted them right in the front of the car open to all the elements and anything the front tires can sling into them. Also be careful when you mess with the tires it’s real easy to get the wheel shaft pins out of position if they are it won’t matter how tight the wheel is it will come off and you will lose several parts, also the wheels are 2” on one side and 3” on the other side making it hard to find different options for tires (I will say I have grown to like the bfg tires it came with) the spare tire is cumbersome if removed there is no bumper so no protection Anyways I hope this helps you to make the right choice. Update: I have decided to give this a 4 star rating. Only because of the customer service and how they handled my issue. Though I originally had 2 stars on the product I felt it shouldn’t go without recognition. I can’t say one bad word about customer service over at horizonhobby and David W. needs a raise for ensuring the service makes up for the lack of quality in the product so with the 2 stars for the car and the service I feel this is four star worthy. Thanks again.

This rc car has to be tuned before you run it. The brake is set at 25% .
This car looks great and after you tune it it runs great. The battery tray is small so your limited on what size 4s batteries you can use.

Perfect rc
Even though it’s considered a rock racer I’ve used it to bash and have put it through some good jumps handles great, almost indestructible. Definitely worth buying

Horrible customer service
This was my first major name brand RC. Something is messed up with the transmitter or receiver because when I took out my new Losi Lasernut for the first time it went out of control and hit a wall at full speed, ripped off the tires, a-arms, ect. I have been trying to get this resolved for over a week now with Losi/Horizon Hobbies and I have been told the same thing all 3 times I talked with someone."let me get your information and I will pass it on to the proper department and they will send you an email" but in the end I get no reply back from them. I just want a replacement. Thank you, Robert M. Talluto

Beautiful, solid machine with a couple of questionable decisions by LOSI
Nice buggy but definitely has a few weak points. Steering has a tone of left side bellcrank slop which can only be fixed by replacing with an aluminum assembly, At my own expense on top of the Nuts price tag. The servo saver was so over tightened that I stripped the adjuster nut trying to get it apart to fit the new metal one, Had to re order an entire assembly that comes with the barrel and nut. Both dog bone driveshafts are severely warped. I mean to the point of violent vibrations at full throttle off its wheels. Had to order GPM shafts at my own expense again. Pretty damn sloppy for a pricey vehicle. Fit and finish of the body was top notch other than the entire cage being slightly crooked and not lining up entirely with the side skirts. will need a heat gun to rectify that nonsense. Oh and the two screws in the bottom of the chassis holding the center diff housing were slightly too long and were protruding from their chamfers quite a bit.. Luckily I had hardware on hand and used slightly shorter screws and now the center diff is properly torqued down . wonder what would have happened if I had just unboxed it and "sent It" ?? I'd probably be on here with the same review but with the added cost of replacing the center diff and housing. After purchasing a 1/8 LMT and blowing up the servo in the first 2 minutes and replacing it with an AGFRC servo, I noticed the Lazernut uses the exact same 30 dollar servo.. ordered up another AGFRC servo so these giant tires don't detonate that toy spektrum servo that is only installed to meet the "ready to run" logo on the box. Came very close to sending this unit back but after overcoming all the cheap outs from LOSI and shelling out for pre-emptive upgrades its shaping up to being a serious beast of a machine.. Will update after I actually run it and find out if anything else needs "fixing"

It’s a rock racer, not a basher.
Looks just like the real thing.

Excelente precio y calidad

Consigliato.
