We like cork place mats for our isjabd because they are so easy to keep clean.

They will be used as placemats for white dishes.

I am so pleased with these placemats-- they look even better in person, extremely easy to clean, very durable! I purchased these in hopes of getting a nicer look, but a placemat that my 3 year old can't destroy.... just when I thought I had to get vinyl I came across these and it seemed to be an interesting concept. Best part is that look fabulous, so easy to clean off any mess my son makes- food or art-wise!- AND when entertaining, they're great for hot dishes. Perfect in so many ways!! The colors are a very rich, earthy tone- JUST LOVE THEM!!

This is my second set of Benson Mill placemats. My first set had the wine bottles. They are heat resistant, don’t warp, and are easy to clean. I gave four stars on durability because the picture started to peel on my first set after a couple months of light use. But for the price point and cute designs, they’re perfect for every day use. Now as far as color, Amazon advertises a cream colored placemat with dark brown lettering. I in fact received a taupe colored placemat with white lettering, which is seen in my pic. I actually wanted this color based on another reviewer who stated that what she got. So I ordered this in hopes of that and I got it. But I would’ve been fine if i received the cream colored ones as well. The taupe works better for me though.
