Expensive but Worth It
This is the best brush I’ve ever used. I’ve gone from single use vibration one to sharing an oral b body to this and this is eons better. I’m sensitive to rubberised material so I love that the body if this is all one material. There’s only one button, customisation is done through the app which is very intuitive and easy to set up and use. The brush feels quality and is on the lighter side which is preferable for me. Still a good weight though and feels & looks sleek & expensive. Only got it today so can’t comment on battery but it came just over 50% charged so I’m expecting about a week. The charger itself is USB which is great - I don’t have to keep it in the bathroom. However the plastic cover does feel a little cheap compared to the rest of the brush and accessories. It’s only letdown. The charging case is super smart and faux leather in a colour matching the brush - midnight blue in my case. I love the look and the feel and I’m hoping it’ll last me years. I must say though I’m glad I got it half price. It’s absolutely worth that money but I’m not sure it’s worth full price.. I guess only time will tell. So far so good.

Ongoing design problem — very short lifespan.
This is the second very expensive top of the line Sonicare toothbrush which has failed in less than two years. In both cases, the metal shaft which mounts the toothbrush heads works its way loose, disabling the toothbrush. I’ve been using only Sonicare toothbrushes since they first came out the early nineties. I was a Sonicare fan for decades so I don’t write this review lightly. Previous sonicare designs always lasted about four years which was fine. Clearly there is now an issue with the latest designs. This time the toothbrush failed just inside the warranty period so I claimed on that but the return process is a hassle and replacement shipment is painfully slow, so I still have not received the replacement. Also, the replacement is a refurbished unit so wonder how long that will last as the warranty is about to expire and there is no extension to cover the replacement. When I bought these toothbrushes I was aware from several bad reviews that there was a problem with this model and with the previous model but bought them anyway thinking that the problems would have been resolved on currently manufactured stock. I was wrong both times and my loyalty to Sonicare worked against me. My conclusion is that there had been a design problem with these toothbrushes for years but Sonicare just keep selling them. Please beware.

Very Basic Smart Features - Tracking not great
This is my second purchase of this toothbrush due to leaving my other one in a hotel! The Philips Sonicare range are good in my opinion, having used both oral B and Philips i do prefer the Philips due to the fact it is much quieter when brushing. The toothbrush is stylish and smart, battery life is ok - lasts me around a week before i need to charge. It's easy to keep clean and the wireless charging is great. The vegan leather case is smart, although i do wish it had an internal USB C cord instead of a separate one which you need to remember to pack. Rather annoyingly you only get one toothbrush head in this pack - the rest of the world seem to get 4 included, however us brits as always get taken advantage of. The smart features are a complete gimmick in my personal opinion, the mouth tracking is poor and continuously gets the location wrong. If it does miss a section then there is no going back without a manual re start of the brush and then the app will follow on - surely the smart features should tell me to go back and clean an area that it feels i have neglected. I think the oral B is much better at directing you than the Philips. I do however like the smart brush head count - to le me know when i need to replace the extortionately priced toothbrush heads!! I am a fan of electric brushing and i do feel my teeth are much cleaner than with a manual brush. I like this brush however don't believe the hype is all i am saying and then you won't be disappointed. Oh and take a personal loan out for the replacement heads!!

Excellent overall
Really pleased with this toothbrush on the whole, it's very powerful and leaves your teeth feeling really clean. I dislike how easy it is to accidentally change the intensity or turn it off whilst using though, and it's pretty loud. The app is pretty useless in my opinion, suggesting I need to pay more attention to all of my teeth despite a thorough 3 min clean of my teeth. It seems to make no sense no matter what I do. It also turns itself off automatically and when turned back on records that as a separate clean. Overall though I'm really pleased, as a standalone toothbrush it does an excellent job and looks great. I like the automated head ordering functionality in the app and the case and charger feel premium. The heads feel like they don't quite fit though, with a fairly large gap between the base of the head and the brush which you need to clean thoroughly.

A really good toothbrush
Firstly, this is a VERY expensive gadget, but I believe it is worth it. I managed to get it at a reasonable price and it was a new product not a return as some others have experienced. My first use of the toothbrush felt like I’d been to the the hygienist, it cleans that well; whether this is the all in one head or the handle or the combination of both, I don’t know- but it cleans way better then my previous sonic brushes. It looks expensive and like a quality product, it feels lovely to use and has a great travel case. The app although a bit of a gimmick has some neat features like identifying areas you don’t clean as well or if you press to hard. Battery seems to last for over 2 weeks, and unlike another reviewer I confirm it alerts you before it goes flat. If you can justify £250-300 this is a great product.

Keeps teeth and gums healthy.
Had only been using this for a couple of weeks before going back to the dentist and it has made a huge difference from manual brushing. You can use it with the app, which seems silly, but the app will not record your efforts unless you are brushing your teeth correctly. This means the most effective way of brushing to keep plaque at bay and keep your teeth and gums at their best. It took some getting used to, as I didn’t like the sensation at first, but I soon got used to it and am very pleased with dentist’s comments.

Probably the best electric toothbrush in the world
I bought this to replace my Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart which finally died after 6 years of faithful service. My dentist always compliments me on my oral hygiene so much so that at 57 years of age I have yet had to see a hygienist because, as my dentist can confirm my teeth are virtually plaque free.I attribute this solely to my old Sonicare toothbrush. I had no hesitation in immediately purchasing this new, updated version of my old toothbrush and expected it to behave in more or less the same way. In someways it did. It was comfortable to hold, nicely weighted and good to look at. The performance however was different. It is actually better (I didn’t think it possible) than my old one. Initially I thought it a little vicious in its vibration and indeed it was. But this is no ordinary toothbrush, it “learns” and it has now settled into a very effective brushing programme that perfectly suits my brushing style. My teeth have never felt so clean and I can definitely see that they are whiter. The included charging case (with USB cable) is very attractive and effective, perfect for travelling. In my opinion this, being Philips top of the range Sonicare has to the best electric toothbrush available. I haven’t always bought Sonicare, I have tried the others but believe me, once you give one of these a go you won’t look back and your dentist will thank you for it!

Great design and super functional and quiet operation
What a great toothbrush! well, it would have to be for the price! but the unit is quiet, cleans really well and is phenomenal for travel being so small and with a USB-C travel case, its super simple to charge on the go too.

Stylish and cleaning well
I love this product. Unfortunately it stopped connecting to the app after one week. But customer care in Dubai is so good. They changed the brush to the new on in just 24 hours. My boyfriend complained about the price but after using and seeing all the app features he said its worth it. Got him his for his birthday.
