Best rice for risotto
I’ve tried a number of Italian rices and this Carnaroli is the best in my opinion. I like the unique can for storage, but it’s the taste that is far superior to other brands or types of risotto rice. Really far superior to Arborio which is widely available.

Wonderful product but buy at local high end supermarkets
The product is as-described by the Manuf. Nice and dry and works in risotto recipes just great. However, I can buy the same size at stores in Bay Area (known for our high prices) for $10 instead of $15 through Amazon. Price needs to be driven down here.

Unimpressed
We bought a few cans of this rice based on online referrals and reviews. Thus far, we have had no success with this rice. We know our way around the kitchen and from our experience, this rice does not live up to its expected reputation.
