Q: does it work for both plastic and metal rivets?

Dear Emilia, our Prym 390901 Vario pliers only works for metal rivets, because it need pressure, plastic ones can not working. Thank you for your attention. from Jerry, PuRuiMu DIY & Creative Tools

Q: Can I use any size rivets and brand?

I had a pack of dritz jeans rivets and a pack of dritz eyelets you get from the craft shop. It worked fine on those. I also tried them on a pack of prym jeans rivets and it worked fine on those as well. I don't remember the sizes.

Q: Will this device install Prym 6/4b snaps onto clothing?

I haven’t been able to use these successfully for anything. The included instructions are not very helpful.

Q: Can these be used to install open ring metal snap buttons like the ones on baby clothing?

I don't think so but I'm not sure.
