America's Great Road Trips and Scenic Drives

Purchased this as a gift for my husband. We have enjoyed traveling the US - revisiting favorite sites and seeing places we've never been and maybe never will.

Since we can't physically travel (safely due to covid virus) we are traveling all over with travel videos. This set is a wonderful addition to our travels.

Very enjoyable DVD set! The first 3 DVD's mostly showed the "scenic drives" (scenic drives with a bit of history), while the last 3 DVD's mostly covered the "road trips" (similar to what might be shown on Rick Steve's Europe - except in America). A great bargain for the price!

These are great, but they aren't all narrated by the same person! A few seem newer, and talk more to people living and working in various stops along the way. I prefer the ones that, literally, take you on the road with soothing narration in the background. Both have their good points. I'm happy I got this item!

Boring. Expected scenery and natures

After attempting to watch one, my husband and I never watched any others. The recording itself isvery dated - probably from the 70's, and the quality is so poor they must be made from old VHS recordings, or pirated. Don't waste your money! We ended up throwing them out.
