🐝 I don't use antibiotics anymore, and I don't have much choice. Western doctors got me totally immune to them by overprescribing them when I didn't need them. Please don't think you won't be one of the many, many people who find themselves in the same exact situation, because it's a major health problem now. So to cure my sinus and sinus staph infections, I eat manuka honey with a UMF rating of 15+ or 20+. I've usually relied on Kiva manuka honey, which is excellent, but I decided to give another brand a chance. This manuka honey isn't the best I've ever tried, but it's still delicious and effective as a natural antibiotic and immune booster. It's creamy and extremely sweet. It's tasty, and I like to mix it into my various herbal and medicinal tea blends. I make sure NOT to only eat it in really hot liquids, because too much heat can destroy some of the active benefits of manuka honey. It tastes great in tea, but it works just as well on toast, waffles, croissants, and other foods. UMF rating is important. If you purchase manuka honey that is a lot cheaper than other brands, then something is wrong. UMF is the official rating of all the potent attributes that make up manuka honey. So other letters and numbers are not the same thing, and are not officially tested. For everday use and immune system maintenance, UMF 5+ or 10+ usually works well for most people. If you have an infection, UMF 15+, 20+, or even 25+ usually works effectively. Manuka honey can be used topically as well. If you have a skin infection, you can apply the honey on the affected area a couple times a day. Many people find manuka essential oil very effective, especially when it's mixed with the honey for skin conditions. The essential oil smells strong and terrible, but it can work wonders for your infections. I'm on the tail end of my current sinus infection. It was almost gone when I began to feel congested again. So I purchased this manuka honey, and within 2 days, I had no need for my Afrin nasal inhaler anymore. I realized that eating a spoonful twice a day is much more effective than just one spoonful a day. I get that the price seems very expensive. But all the energy and money I wasted on doctor's appointments, co-pays, medications, nasal sprays, ENT specialists, testing, and suffering, was a lot more expensive and detrimental in the end. I have sacrificed my body's health in the process. When it comes to health, it's often worth the extra price, because trying to solve everything the cheap way often leaves you right where you started, or worse. Great honey taste good and looks like caramel, for the money I was expecting a bigger size. I add just a little bit to hot tea and oatmeal not even a teaspoon maybe a1/4 1/3 teaspoon If you never tried this kind of honey which says it's %100 unlike all those store brought honey's that contain more sugar than honey, Eating honey is good for the skin.

Our little guy turned five years old this month and has suffered with severe respiratory problems his entire life. He has had surgery for stenotic nares, elongated soft palate, and everted laryngeal saccules, takes an alternate day, pharmacological dose of prednisolone, mainlines children's Mucinex Mini-Melts and needs to be in a very cool, low humidity environment and despite all of that constantly suffers from recurrent bacterial infections and still struggles being able to breath normally. His last course of antibiotics was a vial containing powder that was mixed with special medicinal sterile water and injected subcutaneously three times a day for two weeks to kill a bacterial infection more dangerous than MRSA (which would have been life threatening had the medications not worked, as there is nothing else available to fight this infection) which cost us almost $900.00 to treat. The antibiotic worked and the latest cultural and sensitivity was negative for the first time in 5 years. However he still seemed to be congested. He has a condition called Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, which simply means the hairs, cilia, in his nose as well as other clearing mechanisms in the bronchi are somehow defective and not capable of trapping and clearing inhaled debris away from the lungs, and expelling mucous from the throat which results in chronic mucous plugging, inflammation and infections. Will we be able to eliminate all of our usual protocols for dealing with this condition? I seriously doubt it, but even with all we have been doing our little guys energy level was more like that of a sick senior dog. He seldom felt well enough to play with his two buddy's who are also five. However I am delighted to say after giving him a teaspoon a day for a week the change in his health is incredible. He is not only more alert and active, he is the one initiating play with his two cousins. I am hardly giving him any mucinex since starting him on the honey and on the days he does not get the prednisolone there is no discernible difference which is incredible, as prior to starting the honey, he truly suffered on those days and barely made it every 4 hours without being given the Mucinex. I have always believed in and used integrated medicine, utilizing the best of allopathic and homeopathic medicine and this superlative honey, the most deserving adjective I can think of to describe it, is a welcome addition to my arsenal of medications (necessary evils) and natural medicines/remedies. I am so delighted I found this wonderful product on Amazon and kudos to Mercier Kitchen for importing and bringing this amazing honey to the USA and making it available to us. I am so pleased with our little guys results I am going to set up a monthly subscription and start my other two Shar-pei on this honey as soon as it arrives. They don't have breathing issues but they do have other issues with inflammation that I believe this will help with. My object is to help them all live to a ripe old age and have the best quality of life I can possibly give them. I think this honey with Mercier Kitchen's help will assist me in achieving this goal. If you are sitting on the fence wondering if you should try this product I urge you to go for it. Yes it is expensive but isn't your health worth it?

Manuka Honey is outstanding! Had never heard of it until we took a trip to New Zealand and had a tour of the largest Kiwi Plantation. During this tour we learned about the "bee's" and how the kiwi flowers are pollinated by them. This is where we discovered Manuka Honey. It's darker than most honey, even sweetness, very healthy and all natural. Once we tried it and accepted the fact that we were going to spend a little more money on it, this is all we purchase anymore.

The honey was delicious and slightly creamy in texture. Must say the bottle was not filled up to the top, I hope it was still 250 gms of honey in there.

This is an amazing product and a must try for anyone who appreciates superior quality ! Its great on everything. I enjoy it with fruit, use it in smoothies or oatmeal. It has a great creamy smooth texture. Mostly I a teaspoon before working out,it gives you energy. Or even after a hard workout for a good recovery.

Da ich mich selbst durch etliche Angebote und Bewertungen gewühlt habe, auf der Suche nach tatsächlich, nachweisbaren 100% an Manukahonig in der angegeben MGO Qualität, bin ich auf dieses leistbare Manuka Produkt gestoßen, dass bei meiner Kontrolle nach einer tatsächlichen UMF Zertifizierung tatsächlich bestanden hat. Daher weiß ich, dass ich in dem Behältnis tatsächlich 100%igen Manukahonig in der angegebenen MGO Stufe bekomme und kein "Gepansche". (Das ist mir besonders wichtig, da ich den Honig nicht nur "esse", sondern ihn auch auf die Nasenschleimhaut zur Behandlung meiner Sinusitis auftrage. Herkömmlicher Honig brennt in der Nase! Gleiches verhält sich bei Gemischen oder niedrigem MGO Gehalt!). Ich freue mich daher auf die Lieferung, ungeachtet dessen, dass der hochwertige Honig in einem Plastikgefäß kommt. Offenbar hat das leider logistische Gründe bei einem Transport vom anderen Ende der Welt nach Deutschland/Österreich.
