I’m very impressed with the Cezanne Premium Colored Pencil Medium Greys. These are incredibly useful pencils for building strong values without going straight to black. The medium grey tones are perfect for creating midtones, soft shadows, and darker areas while still keeping the artwork balanced and natural. The pencils apply smoothly, layer nicely, and give great control for sketching, shading, and more finished work. I love Cezanne colored pencils and have bought them many times; in fact J am using them right this minute..

I really love these boxes of commonly used colors. There are about 30 colors that I use a lot and I have not found any sets that contain just these colors and no others. Plus, I already have collected the colors I use less often that come in larger sets, like the extremely pale colors and many of the gray-spectrum colors. So these boxes of 6 commonly-used colors are very helpful, and the pencils themselves are good quality--the colors go on smoothly and are vibrant. The only thing I would like better is if they offered even more colors--eg, the sky blue they offer is a nice sky blue, but there is no light blue available. So I wish they would offer even more colors in boxes of 6 like this!

Nice pencils just not as bright as I like. I do a lot of work on black paper and these show up as a light grey.

Recipient is very grateful to be able to buy just green pencils. She mostly colors floral and at her advanced age cannot fathom using anything other than green for foliage. She is never without green now.

Exactly what I needed! I'm working on a color by number book with black backgrounds so I got these. They are perfect for coloring all the black - I just switch out pencils when I need a new one, and then sharpen them all at the same time.

This order just arrived. I immediately opened my 12 black coloured pencils and tested them out. I'm amazed at how dark and black they are. I'm very impressed with my purchase :)

Work great on black paper. I even press hard at times (left handed) without any issue of the lead crumbling or breaking easily. Doesn't smudge, but can also be lifted with an eraser if need be.

Strong pigment and soft core make these ideal for layering and blending. Good value for bulk use or students.
