68J97 Motor 1/6 HP, 1 Phase 208/230V by Lennox (PACKS)

It is compatible to my Lennox ac unit.

I used this motor as a replacement for my Lennox AC unit motor. I liked that the electrical cables were the same color as my current motor so no guess work there. The shaft was only a 1/4 of an inch longer but that was not a problem. It was very well packed in the box it came in. I had read in one of the reviews that another customer had gotten his motor with a broken motor screw, which is a problem as it is also the screw you use to mount the motor back in to the AC unit. My motor also came in with one screw with the threads broken off past the nut and two of the other three screws the threads were bent over, this did not happen during shipment to me. But it was not a huge deal as the screws in the old motor were an exact fit for the new motor and so I just changed them all out. But a few days later the seller reached out to me to check how the transaction went I mentioned the issues with the screws and without asking and to my surprise they issued me a $20 refund. Now in my book that says volumes about their integrity and customer service. So they get 5 stars from me!!! Thank you.

Product was as described. Label did have “Lennox” stamped on it. Curiously, it was larger than the old one but of course, the holes lined right up with the other set of holes in the top of my unit. Another curiosity was the slightly lower amp rating of this new motor from the old one. I didn’t see any markings about the start/run capacitor this motor requires but the factory one (5/45) is working properly.Some reviews made me cautious about packaging and shipping damage. Definitely not a worry. This was shipped in a heavy box and foamed in on the top and bottom. No shipping damages at all.

Needed to get my a/c running asap and this did the trick. The install was relatively quick an easy.

Fit right into the wider holes on the unit. After removing the fan blades from the old motor I couldn't turn the shaft by hand and this one spun freely. Feels like it's blowing more air than the old one did before it siezed. See pictures for the model I used it on.

Needed a motor for a Lennox XC14 quickly and this worked out perfectly. Everything lined up to bolt in with no issues. Wires had the correct terminals on the ends and were either a heavier gauge or thicker insulation than the original.
