This formula not only promotes the proper absorption of calcium with D3, but the correct distribution to your bones where you need it most.

Low D3 IU, not the same as previous product
If you are like me who have bought this product previously, be warned that this is D3 400 IU product. It used to be available as D3 7000 IU previously. The product labelling is suspicious and avoids mentioning the D3 IU

Smells Really Awful - A Mark of Poor Quality?
I have bought this product 3-4 times already - purely doe to its competitive pricing as compared to other brands. As a consumer, we have no idea what on earth is inside the pills and it's difficult to differentiate quality in nutraceuticals as such. All depends on tall claims, some certifications and presentation to get a customer to click on "Buy". The variations in the pricing of same/similar products is less a function of the quality of raw material more the positioning that a brand want to take - like premium or mass market (volume driven). The story so far has been understandable - what is not is the peculiar medicine like unpalatable smell coming from the pills.I don't recall this smell in the initial packaging - it was there in the previous one - the present container is highest - too strong...I think it shows poor manufacturing practice or poor quality control....it still may work, as I expect it to...but not a pleasant experience .....

If supplementing probably good to take these two vitamins together
Vitamin K2 seems to be a somewhat new area of study: vegan doctors do say the body can convert K1 found in leafy green foods into K2, but there seems to be some doubt. (Relevant for me as I'm vegan.) Fermented foods like kimchi and sauerkraut contain K2 itself but I am not used to eating those, plus thet are salty foods and I avoid salt so these tablets seem to be a good way for me to get K2. K2 is thought to protect the calcium from being absorbed in the wrong place, i.e. soft tissues like even artery walls, and instead go to the right place like teeth and bones, and be used to enhance immunity. Vitamin D is an enabler of calcium absorption so if taking a supplement it is probably better to take them together like in these tablets. The vitamin D is a safely low dose, can take daily, and if doctor recommends a further occasional dose also, possibly?

400 IUs Really ?!!
Why did you reduce the content of D3 from 7000 IUs to 400 IUs....That's really annoying, i will have to switch to another product. Thanks to the brand for this dumb decision.
