Unionbay Men's Cordova Belted Messenger Cargo Short - Reg and Big and Tall Sizes

Very comfortable, reasonably good quality, lightweight, true to size-I 5' 11" and 150 lbs and wear a 30" waist in Levis. I ordered the size 30 for these and they fit perfectly. The fabric belt supplied with the pants is junk and won't stay tightly fastened. I threw it away and ordered a higher quality fabric belt to go with these pants.

These shorts have been a great addition to my summer wardrobe. They’re comfortable, lightweight, and the cargo pockets are actually useful without feeling bulky. The fit is just right, and they’ve held up well after a few washes. A friend saw me wearing them and liked them so much that he asked me to order all three colors for him too. That probably says more than anything else. I’d definitely buy another pair myself.

Love the shorts, they have deep pockets. They are snug around the waist. I'd recommend ordering a size up from what you normally wear.

I've given up trying to find a pair of women's knee-length cotton cargo shorts that A) aren't tight and B) aren't expensive designer labels. So, I searched to see what the men's size equivalent for a women's size 8 shorts/pants would be and read that men's size 29 or 30 would fit. I ordered these in the size 30 because I don't like close-fitting pants and I knew I had to make allowances for the fact that we women have wider pelvises (i.e., hips) than men. I was aware that they would probably be slightly loose in the waist because of this, but I'd rather deal with that than have them too tight around my hips. I'm glad I did. They were a bit big in the waist as I expected, but they come with a belt, which definitely helps. I also sewed on a second button, which made them even better. The cotton fabric is medium weight cotton twill and comfortable. And did I mention the pockets? Why, oh, why do clothing manufacturers think women don't need them?! We don't always want or need to carry or wear a bag. Multiple pockets are even better! The length is perfect, too. No one, including, me, wants to see my baggy knees. They come in a good selection of colors, so I will be ordering a second pair ASAP! The price is great, too!

Poor quality dyes do not hold up in the sun. Fading started almost immediately. Good fit and style but color does not hold.

AWESOME SHORTS!!! PROS- High quality materials and construction! Fits to size!!! I simply LOVE how these shorts are 'beneath the knee' whether standing or sitting, as I hate cargo shorts that creep over my knee when I am sitting!!! LOL.. They are easy to wash - just toss them in with a washload and either air dry if you want or toss them in the dryer - I did not notice any shrinkage.. SUPER comfortable to wear!! I ordered a size 40 and they were a 'little loose' because I am still losing weight, but these shorts have a 'real button' on the front instead of a snap closure, so I can easily just put on my suspenders from Hikers OR use a belt!!! The pockets are well stitched and roomy!!! CONS - NONE!!!!! Bottom line - These cargo shorts are the BEST cargo shorts I have EVER owned!!! As soon as I got my first pair, I immediately ordered another 3 pair!!!! I am so impressed by the quality and fit of these cargo shorts!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to EVERYONE!!! FIVE STARS!!!

My husband is 6’-7” and these are his favorite shorts. He has three colors now. Not super heavy weight fabric so good for hot days.
