We have ordered this tea for a few years when our local Indian supermarket doesn’t have it in stock, never any issues.This order of 3 boxes is very different. We opened the first box this morning.We were so surprised and disappointed to find the tea is unsweetened and hardly has any ginger flavor to it at all!Unfortunately they cannot be returned so I just threw away the cost of the 3 boxes.This must have been a bad batch. Not very happy here.

strong giger taste
I used to love this, but I outgrown the giger obsessions, and now it's just a little too strong for me, but still likes to have a cup sometimes, I mix it with milk, which tones it down, and very delicious.

Excellent ginger-y chai
It has a strong ginger flavor with sweetness to balance it out. Looking forward to trying the unsweetened version though. I used to make chai for my wife all the time, but Wagh Bakri has gotten me off the hook. Actually, I enjoy making chai, but this tea is so good, that my wife and I don't feel like making it as often! (Though it doesn't replace good ol' homemade chai!)
