I'm happy to have found something that works for me. I hope some of these tips help you: 1. Don't assume that because you're a larger/smaller person that you need the largest/smallest size. MEASURE your knee as directed....tightly. These sleeves should be a really snug fit. 2. In line with #1, because they need to be tight to protect your knee, expect these to be a little of a struggle to put on. This is not a product flaw, it's actually a feature! If it is too easy, you may not get the protection you're looking for. 3. These are not just good for powerlifting. They're also great for weightlifting, CrossFit, anything that requires a lot out of your knees. 4. I have found the best way to get these on is to fold them in half (so that the logo is inside the fold, neoprene is facing out), then slide them up your leg. Once you've reached the knee, you can unfold and roll the rest of the sleeve up. There are a lot of videos online that demonstrate this and other techniques. 5. The company is great at supporting its customers! This is not one of those companies that sells knee sleeves and then like paper plates or something--they specialize in fitness gear, so they know a lot about the products. Don't hesitate to reach out to them. I had a sizing issue and they were able to educate me on how it all works (which is why I'm passing the info along to you!).

I have knee problems that had drastically slowed me up in the gym. I tried an array of knee sleeves in which I found were great for post workout wear but not for wear during workout sessions. I'm a big (295 lbs 6'4") 50+ guy who lifts heavy weights (stronglifts 5x5) and walks five miles a day. These braces (size XXL) stabilize the knees during deep barbell squats and give one other benefit I haven't seen in the reviews -- reduced knee swelling from long walks. I usually have swollen, stiff knees for up to 24 hours after a long walk. I wore these things during my walk today (for the first time) and after, felt no knee swelling or pain. That's enough reason all by itself to have them. The compression is solid and sturdy. The thick material is just a sleeve so it can bunch up a little behind the knees, but not enough to be really annoying. Best fitness gear I've bought since my weightlifting gloves.

I have these for myself since I squat quite heavy for a girl. I like that they really are compression and hug tight to the knee. They also help me squat a little heavier, as they give a little "springiness" to your knees. I loved them so much that I purchased a pair for the swolemate too. I'm pretty sure I ordered an XL but received an XXL...but it actually worked out perfect. He fit the XXL and gives him room for leg gains! ;-P I've also had several people ask about these at the gym and, after my recommendation, order a pair themselves. All have positive things to say! Also - they come with a bag that's super handy to carry all my stuff in the gym. That's just an added bonus! Even the boyfriend has started carrying his!

These are great. And even with some breathing room the side stitches came out. If you get these grab your sewing machine and reinforce the sides.

Awesome knee sleeves with the same stiffness as the higher priced similar products. They come “ready to wear” and don’t need to be broken in for your first work out. They give great support and have a nice stiffness to allow your legs to still do the work but also feel supported. They don’t bunch or roll when exercising with them either.
