The hot water bag holds less than 2 litres of water, maybe about1.5 litres. While the cap is made of plastic, even the cap holder with the threads inside, is made of plastic and not metal. No leakage anywhere as of now. It's just a day old purchase. Need to wait and see how it goes with further usage.
