They cheaper than any other place I can find and they work great

It was a great disappointment.
It was a great disappointment. I think it's broken because while it does close the door, it doesn't dampen the speed and always slams. And if I try to adjust it, it doesn't close the door fully.

A great product
39 years ago I built my house, with its attached screened porch. The porch door was lightweight (no glass) and inexpensive, but it never worked right. The conventional closer that it came with the door pulled it strongly towards the hinges. The door did close, but it constantly jammed and rubbed on the frame. After many years of planing, sanding, and removing wood I was never able to get it to close properly. Finally, I finally figured out the problem. The door needed a closer that rotated it about the axis of the hinges, not one that pulled it towards the hinges. This closer has been in place for a year now and it works as perfectly. It's pricy, but worth the money. I only wish I had discovered it earlier.
