I use a bunch of these at work for car parts. Storing parts for different vehicles and whatnot. Strong, easy to move and easy to build. Might buy some more👍

Pretty solid construction! I read the reviews about bent pieces so I was nervous, but not one single item was bent. We got the chrome look and it’s sturdy and easy to assemble. A helper is needed while placing the shelves on unless you are really really tall. Wheels are optional and you can hold MORE weight without them. The wheels move well even on our carpet. Placed in extra bedroom for storage.

These metal shelves are fairly sturdy, and are fairly easy to assemble. You get the option of using either the supplied caster wheels or just the plastic bottom pads which are already screwed into the bottom of shelf's 4 vertical corner tubes. BUT... Beware that if you choose to install the supplied caster wheels, the resulting height of the 4 vertical tubes then becomes just under 82 inches up from the floor, which will not quite pass through a standard USA interior doorway (which is typically 80 inches high). To their credit, this item was indeed advertised as being 82 inches high. For my purposes however, the benefit of the wheels is to be able to roll these shelves from one interior room to the next and the 2 inches too high was so very close to working great as supplied. Fortunately I happened to have a steel pipe cutting tool nearby that I used to cut the 4 upright tubes down to a shorter length. The 4 tubes come from the factory with circular grooves evenly spaced along its entire length for their shelf mounting scheme, so the cutting wheel of my steel pipe cutter tool easily and neatly followed the groove that I selected to cut at, and it resulted in nice uniform cuts with exactly equal tube length on all 4 corners of the shelf. Happy customer here, but it took a little more effort than planned. The manufacturer might consider changing their offering to supply the tubes only about 3 inches shorter which would be so much more usable for the USA customers that might not want their wheeled shelves to be limited to staying within a single room.

I purchased 2 of the 6-shelf x 48" wire racks at a great price for my garage. I'm familiar with putting together this type and had no problems til the very end. As I unpacked, I didn't see the damaged shelf and that just happened to be the very last shelf (top) being put on - there was no damage or wrinkling at all on the box, so it was packaged damaged at the factory. I only noticed when I had difficulty getting the shelf to fit down onto its corner. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. See pic. I've given it 4 stars for several reasons. 1 - putting the racks together was easy because of the organization of the parts; 2 - these might not be the most heavy duty but they are sturdy, well made, no wobbles, and the sale price of $99 was great for this tall, wide size with good quality wheels w/locks; 3 - when I discovered the damage, there is a warranty sheet in the box and I contacted FDW by email asking fir one replacement shelf but they declined, saying it was Amazon's responsibility. As everyone knows, Amazon requires everything to repackaged and returned and they will simply refund you. I just needed one shelf, so it's not worth it to me to dismantle & return, just to take another chance of a damaged unit. Great shelves; you're taking a chance on getting a damaged unit, so read the reviews - FDW doesn't warranty any damage.

I have at least 20 of these size wire shelving and five of them are these black ones. Wish they ALL were! This one is as strong and durable as the others but much lighter. I didn’t need ones that could take 1000 lbs per shelf, it turns out. Regardless, I can put any of these shelves together in 30 mins or less by myself with a step ladder. (With 20+ I kinda have the knack for it.) The casters are really good quality and lock very well. I cut the box to make shelf mats because any container that isn’t totally flat will catch on the wires. I store everything you can imagine on them and can hang all kinds of things from the wires. There are loads of different kinds of hook accessories too, some that go on the vertical bars. I had to move and ended up with most of the “stuff” as the family “stuff-keeper.” Apart from furniture and big boxes and other things that movers took care of, I packed everything I could into labeled plastic containers and filled the shelves, rolled them onto a rented moving truck, and rolled them off and into the garage of my rental house. Voila! Done and done! I added more units as I unpacked other things and use them for storage and overflow to conserve space. I even have one in a bedroom closet. They helped me organize stuff for culling once I moved and are ready for the next stop, whenever and wherever that may be. Meantime, they are easy to move around and the shelves are readily readjusted as needed. One of them is split, each built only half up as “pit stop and work top surfaces” with boards across the tops. I got extra casters for one of them. HIGHLY recommend, especially at this price, which was about $90 with a deal.

This shelf fit the interior of one of our closets perfectly, it is very easy to assemble. It’s durable, it looks good, the size is exactly what I needed. The shelves are completely adjustable to any height, in fact, you can leave one out if you like, very easily. These shells are highly recommended!

Awsome so far. Does hold a lot. Add a set of shelf lines if your putting bottles or smaller items on it to keep from tipping over

Good product. Goes together with zero tools, bolts, or nuts which is really nice.

We ordered two items and one of the shelves was damaged. We contacted the seller and he sent a new one. We waited patiently. Understanding that this sometimes happens. But when we received the new shelf, we were very surprised because the new shelf was also damaged, smaller than the first one, but again not good. We paid for a quality product, but received bad quality. We asked for a refund, but they will do it if we send everything back. It is extra work, time and extra trouble because we do not have the box! So, be careful! The price is too high for shelves with a manufacturing defect. Updated. Finlay, company give me some refund.
