Makita DWR180Z Cordless Ratchet Screwdriver 18 V (without Battery, without Charger) Black

I was alittle sceptical about buying this as I thought the battery being so big would get in the way and to be totally fair on some jobs it does. There are many other good makes on the market with smaller batteries the look more convenient. But since I have quite afew makita batteries I had to give this ago. I used it for the first time about 1 week after receiving it and it performed very well it turned a 2 hour job into 20 minutes. So for £116 it’s money well spent. It seems very robust and you can feel the quality but then it is makita. All in all I’m very happy with this it’s worth the money. DONT FORGET TO REGISTER IT ON LINE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASING TO GET YOUR 3 YEAR WARRANTY.

Love it works really well

I bought this to use at work because I was fed up of doing repetitive loosening and tightening of valves and dummies by hand on one particular job. The max torque of the wrench also matched the final torque of the new valves when fitted which means I can just buzz them right up and whizz on to the next one. For temporary cap nuts/etc I can just nip them up with a lighter pull on the trigger and let go after a couple of clicks. Sometimes when loosening the dummies pulling the trigger won’t do it for obvious reasons but the beauty of this tool is that it also acts as a hand wrench so you can crack off the fastening by pulling on it by hand power only or indeed tighten it more than the tool will do under power: This has made a boring job way more enjoyable and at least 8 times faster.

Definitely helped me out when working on a car. Sometimes I have to give it a running start on some bolts to get it undone. Ran it on 3, 4 and 5ah batteries with no issues.

Robust construction well balanced interchangeable drive great idea but would be better if it had half inch drive as well highly recommended

I purchased this to replace a 1/4 drive ratchets I wear out quickly. I later found out that lots of people have had issues with the sprag type bearing used for the ratcheting mechanism . I've used this with no issues and love it.

It’s a battery ratchet it’s not designed to impact or remove tight nuts etc But it works great has more torque than I expected and you can use it as a manual ratchet once tight has saved me a lot of time

Arrived on time, good ratchet that’s compact enough to get into tight spots and has a faster speed than any other one I can see on the market, that’s important to me because the main reason I use a cordless ratchet is speed of tightening/removing bolts. Locks when not in use so you can use it as a manual ratchet. Some complain about the forward/reverse leaver but while it could be a little better designed I didn’t find it to be a big deal.

Endlich kein mühsames Ratschen mehr in engen Motorräumen. Die Makita ist kompakt, hat ordentlich Kraft und spart extrem viel Zeit. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist, wie von Makita gewohnt, top. Absolute Kaufempfehlung für Schrauber.
