Logitech Folio Touch iPad Keyboard Case with Trackpad and Smart Connector for iPad Air 11-inch (M2 & M3), iPad Air (4th & 5th gen) – Graphite

The Logitech Combo Touch has been a great case/keyboard combination for my iPad Air so far! The things I enjoy about the Combo Touch include the great typing feel, quality materials that don’t get dirty easily, the function key row, and the large trackpad. The main selling point, and the biggest advantage that this has over keyboards like the Magic Keyboard is its versatility. If you want to type and use it as a laptop, you can. If you want to use the iPad in tablet mode, or draw, just detach the keyboard and either put it away or attach it backwards. The kickstand in the back feels very sturdy and has a very wide range of viewing angles, especially when compared to the Apple Magic Keyboard. The last thing that is a big pro is the ability to protect the iPad without keeping the keyboard attached, since the combo touch is basically a nice bumper case with a really nice keyboard. I only have two minor issues with the Combo Touch: You can’t really stand the iPad up in vertical orientation. Also, typing with it on your lap is slightly less convenient than with something like the Magic Keyboard, but it is definitely possible once you figure out how to balance it because the keyboard is quite solid and the hinge on the kickstand is. In fact, I wrote this review using the combo touch keyboard on my lap. In conclusion, the Logitech Combo Touch is a great choice for students in HS/College, or anyone looking for a less expensive, more versatile, and more protective keyboard than the Magic Keyboard.

I bought this case because I wanted something that would protect my IPad as I bring it with me a lot and obviously you're protecting a large investment. It has worked flawless so far since I've been using it for a few months now. PROS: It's a heavy duty case, I don't worry about if my IPad is protected enough. Love the spot in the close flap for the Apple Pen and the room it leaves if I want to leave the pen attached to the IPad. It is functional in many different positions and love that I can elevate it a bit when it's sitting on my lap. The illuminated keys are the keyboard are a nice touch and being able to have a touch pad for a mouse is a win. It really has everything I need and more. CONS: With being so heavy duty, it is heavy. It adds a lot of weight to my IPad Air. But it's a trade-off as I know how solid it is. The only very minor glitchy thing I've noticed is if I have the IPad on my lap and try and use the keyboard, with the uneven surface it can go back and forth between the on screen keyboard as it's not sure which one I'm trying to use. Not a big deal at all. Price point is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this if you want all the things and want it feel like you're on a laptop sometimes. It's high quality and will protect your investment. And it should, for the price you pay.

It was hard to spend this much money on a keyboard case, but the quality is so good it feels worth it. The keys feel great, it keeps the iPad safe, it's easy to to stand up for video watching and best of all - it's blue tooth so it doesn't require charging. I'm really happy with it.

Updated review: I have updated my review from below and increased the rating from 2 to 4. You can read my previous thoughts regarding the product, but I have changed my opinion on Logitech and this product. I did not rate it 5-stars because of the issues I went through; however, after calling Logitech and then they asked me to call Apple, with no resolution on either side, I emailed Logitech back Apple's opinion on the issue. I have purchased multiple products from Logitech over the years and even though I was past the warranty period on this device they sent me new Logitech Folio Touch iPad Keyboard Case. They did not extend the warranty on the replacement, but I'm fine with that. When I received the product it still did not work fully, correctly, but I called Apple and they suggested I reset my settings on my iPad (which required me to re-input minor things like my Wi-Fi password). The product is working correctly now. I appreciate the help I received from the Logitech support personnel and their offer of replacing a product that was a few months past warranty. I would now recommend this product to anyone. It is easy to use and extremely helpful when using my iPad to type anything longer than a couple of sentences. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Old review below: For 17 months I used this daily, sometimes in place of my laptop for its size and convenience. I loved this product and would have given it 5-stars. But this month the keyboard stopped connecting. I followed all the troubleshooting recommendations but nothing worked. What I thought the problem was that the place you insert your iPad has stretched ever so slightly over time and use enough, that the connectors on the back don’t align correctly when you iPad sits in the correct upright position to type. But now my iPad says that the accessory is not capable. I always keep my iPad up-to-date on the latest software, maybe "logi" isn't keeping up. On their website they say everything is up-to-date. Plastic does stretch over and if this is the problem, then Logitech needs to correct the problem, because a purchase of $150 should last longer than 17 months. As a result, I could not and will not recommend this product. Some products, I consider disposable and will rebuy over time as needed. $150 is not what I consider disposable.

My iPad is attached to this as I write this review! It’s great. Keeps the iPad safe and the keyboard quality can usually keep up with my typing. I have noticed a little latency in the mouse when I first fire it up but I think that’s more of a WiFI problem maybe. Fits perfectly and is easy to use.

This product is great. Talk about a complete game changer. I sold my laptop. I have no reason to keep it. The iPad, now fully equipped with this keyboard and trackpad, does everything I would ever need a laptop to do. But now, it functions just like a normal computer, if I need to. This Logitech trackpad and keyboard case works perfectly. it installs itself. It’s got excellent shortcuts, and the feedback from the keyboard and trackpad is phenomenal. The keyboard and trackpad with the iPad inside of it still weighs only 2 pounds. I can bring it wherever I need to go and don’t need a separate laptop bag to log everything together. it’s got a great holder for my Logitech crayon and it works perfectly. If you are serious about being able to take full advantage of your iPad then you need to get one of these. I do have an update. I have returned this keyboard because the Apple magic keyboard offers functionality and response that this product does not offer. And for somebody like me who has transitioned to using his iPad for all purposes, and no longer uses a laptop, having the best keyboard makes all the difference. The fact that you can stick the iPad and it magnetically adheres to the backing and then tilt your iPad like a traditional laptop is awesome. I felt that while the trackpad on the Logitech product is sufficient, it could be better. The Logitech does not offer some of the shortcuts in the top row that apple's version does. I know that this product is significantly cheaper, but if you are serious about your iPad and use it all the time, then you need to go with the best.

This is a brilliant add-on to the iPad. It’s SO much better than every similar case for Samsung tablets - and I’ve tried them all - that it makes my iPad my go-to device over other tablets and computers. The fit is pretty perfect on the iPad. Nice and snug. The keyboard attaches really well - about as good as a Surface which is pretty much the gold standard for me. It doesn’t wobble with the iPad on your lap. The texture of this earlier-generation case is MUCH better than the newer “m2/m3” variant. That one is super smooth and slippery. WHY? The older generation has almost a denimy feel to it so it has a great amount of grip. I don’t use it in particular dirty or dusty environments so it stays pretty clean for me, despite the texture. The keyboard is super to type on - again, about as good as a Surface. The backlight is great. The trackpad is also nice, but I really don’t like the weird little dot that iPads have when you connect an external trackpad or mouse. It doesn’t move well, and isn’t precise. That’s not a failing of the Logitech case, though, it’s just iPad OS’s crappy mouse pointer. The kickstand works perfectly and requires just the right about of force to open. I wish this case had a clip or something to hold an Apple Pencil or Logitech crayon but it’s still 5 stars even without that. Every other case for a Samsung tablet is 1 star by comparison.

Decided to buy this for a trip where I didn't want to bring my laptop and was trying to minimize luggage weight. I did a lot of research and tried a few cases before choosing this one. As you'll hear from everyone else and every youtube 'ipad case review' : this case has everything, and it's the best, EXCEPT: when it's closed it's a little tricky to pull it open. The magnet is strong and you have to wedge your finger to pull open the keyboard, there should be a little tab to make this easier. I have long nails which helps but it's a small annoyance. Regardless I don't think there's a better ipad case, I love everything else about it. I used it as a computer for 2 months, it didn't hurt my back to carry, and I'd make the same decision it again. Edit: I've had it for 6 months now, no issues with the keys, the material looks like fabric and has a fabric-like texture but is much easier to clean. My ipad has been protected, and it still works like new so I'm happy with this purchase.
