Perfect For Large Dog Owners
Moved to an apartment a while ago with vinyl wood flooring and found out pretty quickly my dog could not walk on it without slipping everywhere. Went and bought rugs and this stuff to help and it has worked amazingly! We play tug-o-war and his 65lb self runs around everywhere and it has never budged! The rug was recently destroyed so I had to take it off and it came off with no problem and left no residue. Bought another rug and first thing I did was buy this again! Word of caution, this stuff is very, very sticky and destroyed my scissors. Totally worth it though!!

Great Rug Tape
This tape works great! Super easy to apply and holds great. I used it on 8ft runners, with tape at both ends and some on each side in the center and the rug hasn’t budged! I have plenty of tape left if I need to reapply it get any new rugs!

Keeps Mats Secure and Does the Job – Just Wish the Roll Was Bigger
I bought this double‑sided carpet tape to keep our kids’ play mats in place in our apartment, and it’s been a huge improvement. Before, the mats were constantly sliding, which was frustrating and noisy. This tape really locks them down — the adhesion and grip are excellent. Once in place, the mats don’t budge, even with kids running and jumping on them every day. Functionality‑wise, it’s exactly what I needed: simple to use, and it does its job well. The hold feels strong but not permanent, so I’m confident I could remove it later if needed. My one note here is that when cutting, it did gum up my scissors a bit, leaving a sticky residue, so I recommend using an old pair or wiping them down after. As for value, I do wish the roll had more length for the price. I had enough to secure one large mat but will need to order more to finish my other two. That said, for how well it works, I don’t mind grabbing another roll. Overall, this tape is a reliable, cost‑effective fix if you’re tired of sliding mats or rugs. Strong adhesion, great grip, and it gets the job done — just be ready for slightly sticky scissors and to buy extra if you’re covering larger areas.

Excellent
Great tape, it works great on my wood floors and to take it off. The wood floor is all I have to do. Is roll it from the edges? It's a great tape for my carpet

Rubber backed rugs
It does not harn the vinyl plank and adheres beautifully, BUT it will take off any rubber backing on the throw rug upon removing the rug. The tape will work again upon reinstall even though rubber backing came off.

Good hold, works well!
Sticks carpet well. I laid out the carpet first, the attached the tape to opposite corners. Did a lot of pulling ends to get it even. Tape can be moved, but very good hold too.

Carpet Tape Double Sided - Rug Tape Grippers for Hardwood Floors and Area Rugs.
It's a good double sided carpet tape. You have to plan ahead of time the length you need and only take off the tape covers when you're sure of the position as they are very sticky and hard to remove.

Works, but NOT easy to work with
I just applied eight pieces of this tape to the corners of three rugs. Each piece was about 2-3 inches long. The tape works, but is so difficult to use that I threw away about the same amount as what I used. I got better as I went along and will include some key tips below. I lowered the rating by a star due to difficulty. First, how this tape is constructed. It’s a thin double sided adhesive gummy material with a thick wax backer strip. The actual adhesive layer is about half the thickness of the backer strip. It is so sticky that if it sticks to itself, you basically need to start a new piece. To describe consistency, my discard pieces of adhesive that balled up were similar to a ball of sticky chewing gum. Here’s how I actually made it work. First, this stuff will leave gum on your scissors. After cutting a couple of pieces, I scraped and washed the scissors, but still had problems (the scissors are sharp). That’s when I hit on my first tip. I used a bit of olive oil lightly spread on my scissor blades (any oil should work). This made cutting much easier. Next tip, I took the free end of the tape and stuck a sliver of the edge to my kitchen counter to hold it in place while I cut my strip. Once cut, I left it stuck on the counter, carefully pulled off the backer strip, and then slowly unstuck the sliver from the counter. I then held the strip by two corners and carefully went to place it. If you aren’t careful, the strip will double up and stick to itself. All this said, my rugs are well set and I’m now waiting for cat zoomies to really test. Hope this helps someone.

Two way tape has excellent adhesion stitches carpet tiles together nicely with no separation. Only negative and it's small tough to sometimes remove the second side paper.

Nice and sticky - perhaps a little too sticky but I think that is dependent on the backing material of the carpet. It is indeed true that you can use this particular tape to stick carpet to carpet. What do I mean? Winter. You may have an all year carpet in the hallway to the front door, and now comes snow and salt time. Most people put a black rubber backed carpet on top of their existing carpet to protect the year around. The problem with these carpets is that they often curl at the edges. So with this tape you can prevent the curling and people accidentally tripping on the winter overlay while at same time having peace of mind on not harming your year around carpet with goo.
