This tape works wonders for everything I need held done, not just carpet. I knew a lot of events outside in this tape holds things down to concrete as well as on walls and poles. It is very adorable and leaves minimal to no residue. The only downside is the residue sticks to my scissors and takes some time cleaning, but it’s still well worth the money and a very good product.

This carpet tape is extremely sticky, which worked very well. The edges of my rugs are stuck, no curling. The tape was easy to apply to the smaller front door rug, but the octagon shaped rug was a little more tricky. I put both rugs on the dining room table to work on them. The small 2 1/2 ft rug went perfectly. However, the octagon shaped rug would have been better worked on on the floor. Because once I picked it up off the table, and flip it around, the sides stuck together and boy oh boy, trying to get the edges unstuck was difficult. In retrospect, it was kind of funny. There is no movement in the rugs. Product is good, and is priced fairly.

I bought bath mats to put in front of the sinks in my bathroom, but one of them is in front of the door, which swings inward, and the door kept getting caught on the mat. I used this tape on the mat where the door slides over it, and it stays firmly in place, allowing the door to swing cleanly over it and not get caught. I have tile floors for reference. It is SUPER sticky, and I haven't tried removing it yet, so we'll see if it leaves any kind of residue, but according to the other reviews, it shouldn't. Overall, a good value for the money and very durable. I think it would work on any rug so even though I just used a small amount, I have no doubt I'll use it again in the future.

This sticks a carpet into place very well, ONCE IT WORKS! But Man! Getting that backing tape off the other sticky side is SUPER DIFFICULT to un-peel It does work, if you're patient enough to figure that out. I don't understand why mfrs can't split the backing or do SOMETHING to make this easier!!!

This carpet tape works extremely well. I used it to keep an area rug from sliding on my hardwood floors, and it holds everything firmly in place without damaging the floor underneath. The adhesive is strong enough to keep the rug secure, but I was also able to remove it cleanly without any sticky residue left behind. Super easy to apply and definitely heavy duty. Great solution if you’re tired of rugs moving around or curling at the edges.

I am very happy with this area rug tape. My rugs would pull up when I vacuumed them. Since I used this, they stay down, no problem. It keeps them from sliding around and slipping on the floor. When I pull the rugs up to wash them, I remove the tape and replace when I put them back down. The tape leaves no residue and is very easy to pull off the floor. I’ve purchased a couple of times now and am happy with this product. Highly recommend

The tape did a great job holding down the corners of some new unrolled area rugs and runners onto my bamboo hardwood floor but a couple of weeks later I needed to reposition one corner of one rug and the tape was practically impossible to remove. I tried using hair dryer and that just made the residue softer and stickier. I eventually used adhesive remover (in my case, Duck brand). That was after just a few weeks. I don't know how difficult it will be to remove if you leave it in place for a year or more.

I bought this double‑sided carpet tape to keep our kids’ play mats in place in our apartment, and it’s been a huge improvement. That said, for how well it works, I don’t mind grabbing another roll. Overall, this tape is a reliable, cost‑effective fix if you’re tired of sliding mats or rugs. Strong adhesion, great grip, and it gets the job done — just be ready for slightly sticky scissors and to buy extra if you’re covering larger areas.

Nice and sticky - perhaps a little too sticky but I think that is dependent on the backing material of the carpet. It is indeed true that you can use this particular tape to stick carpet to carpet. What do I mean? Winter. You may have an all year carpet in the hallway to the front door, and now comes snow and salt time. Most people put a black rubber backed carpet on top of their existing carpet to protect the year around. The problem with these carpets is that they often curl at the edges. So with this tape you can prevent the curling and people accidentally tripping on the winter overlay while at same time having peace of mind on not harming your year around carpet with goo.

Very sticky but thin and removing the top tape is very difficult. It would be perfect.if it was at least twice as thick and if the top.tape was more easilly separated.

It’s a very reliable double sided tape for carpet. You don’t have to worry that the glue won’t stick to the carpet. It’s thick enough to last a long time.
