Four PawsMedium Weight Dog Tie Out Cable

The cable itself is very sturdy! I only give it 4 stars because after a week of being outside it was no longer red.

Ive been unable to straighten out this cable, its a hazard to walk around as a foot can easily get entangled in it. I just cost me a short emergency visit to the vet as my dog was running around while we were playing, her rear foot entangled in the cable and injured her leg.The problem is that it retains its curled shape even after a couple of months out of the packaging.

My dog loves the cable. It doesn't tangle, I got it at the perfect length. My dog ( his name is DAM IT, especially it is). Anywho, Dam it is a Chi-wenie but I'd taller than a dachshund would be, that's the Chihuahua in him. He loves to bark at other dogs and cats. The tie out cable is perfect so he can't go out to far in the yard and is strong enough that he can't break it. .

This cable has went through rain and snow for 2 years and still has held up. I have an Italian greyhound that is 20lbs and he doesn't pull on the cable. The red has faded though. I didn't knock it down a star because I don't care about the aesthetics. I care if it does its job and is reliable.

These tie-out cables are sturdy, easy to use, don't take up a lot of space, and they come in very handy when traveling with dogs. Keep a few in your car or truck and your camper, and you will find them very handy to use.

Attractive and light weight, much better than our last cable tie out. Can't tell about durability yet.

Arrived superfast, and tried out for first time camping today, attached to a tethering spike one end and to our standard poodle in his harness, at the other. He did tangle his legs up once, but after that it was much easier for him to move around without coiling himself into knots as he did with his normal leash. So works for us!

This along with a stake we purchased allows our French Bulldog to roam around the garden without escaping! He loves it as long as he is close enough to us. We might buy another one and join them together to give him a bit more freedom.

Great product strong and enough length to allow my dog to roam freely without getting loose. I have bought two of these products one for the back and front garden. I have recommended to a friend.

Bought this in Jul 2015 and now (August 2016) the cable is starting to wear and rust . Would have expected it to have lasted much longer taking into consideration the cost.

Bought this for puppy at same time as Roesewood Xtra strong stake bought for long term. Whilst this item is well made the snaps do not fit over the ring on the stake so had to fix with cable tie. Be careful the snaps are big enough for your stake!
