Mindfulness Watch
If you need to deal with ADHD mind wandering, this is excellent. If you set the number of repeats to 00 it will count up until 99. I have it set to 10 minutes on the first timer, and none on the other, so that's 16 and a half hours when it stops, if not stopped and restarted manually (just hold the side button for about 4 seconds to stop the time, tap it again to begin again, in this case at 00, counting up). Since it counts up, it's a handy reference for when I started it. So say I start reading a book, I can quickly see the count, so if the count is 3, that's 30 minutes I've allegedly been reading. Since I have it in V mode, it only vibrates. The vibration is audible, but smart watches are so common these days, nobody comments on it.There are some negatives, but I'm not going to mention them, because there is no competition really, all the others are just nowhere near as good.

Perfect for running intervals
If you're familiar with Jeff Galloway's Run-Walk-Run method of running, this little gizmo is perfect. I initially tried an interval timer app that I found for my phone, but I found that it was interfering with my smart watch and messing up the interval timing. After a little research, I found GymBoss. It works great! I clip it into the inside of my running bra (sorry about the TMI) so I can hear the little beep above my earphones. Best wishes!

For time management & maintaining focus
I am probably afflicted with ADHD, and have difficulty maintaining focus on the task at hand. I decided I needed some way to remind myself every few minutes to review my immediate goal and check myself to be sure I am not drifting from the plan. I was pleased to find that there are several brands of timepieces that offer a vibrating function. However most of them suffer from one or more of the following disadvantages:-vibration lasts for 30 seconds at a time (not practical for extended use, as you'd need to turn it off every time)-vibration is offered only for alarms (e.g. for people who need to take a drug at specific times of day)-has a repeating timer but the minimum interval is 15 minutes-interval does not auto-repeat-only certain intervals are allowed, e.g. 1, 5, 10 etc. minutesNone of these work for me, because I need many dozens to hundreds of very brief vibration reminders, at regular short intervals throughout the day, and I need to be able to choose the optimal interval for my needs. The GymBoss is the only product that seems to offer this capability (or at least the only one at a reasonable price).Currently I am using it with the briefest vibration alarm (1 second), repeating every 2 minutes. Using the interval timer function, the watch provides you with two alternating intervals, e.g. you can do a 5-minutes countdown, it vibrates, then automatically starts a 10-minute countdown, then vibrates, then back to 5-minute countdown, and so on. It can do up to 99 sessions. For my purpose, I set both intervals to 2 minutes. So it does 2 minutes, vibrates, then another 2 minutes, and vibrates again. It does that 99 times, which means a total of 198 2-minute countdowns. So far, this seems to be working perfectly for my needs: the 1-second vibration is just perfect. It's just enough to get my attention. Actually, it grabs my attention from hearing the sound of the vibration, as much as feeling the vibration on my wrist. It is quite noticeable to somebody (or my dog) who is right next to me, so that might mean I'd need to pause it during social situations out of discretion. But, it basically does what I need, which is fantastic. However, there are some negatives.First, it is an awkwardly bulky, cheap-looking device. Frankly, it looks like technology from the 1980s. I remember cheap video game toys I had during that era, I imagine it uses the same basic technology. It is from back in the day when a simple digital wristwatch with a couple of different alarm options was a super cool thing to have. The device itself is maybe 3-4 times as thick as you'd expect in this day and age. It's not unusable by any means. But it's convenient that it's marketed for "gym" use, because I suspect that makes it seem more acceptable aesthetically. It's bulky, kind of muscular looking I suppose.Second, and most importantly to me, the device will NOT let you use multiple functions simultaneously. It has 3 functions: (1) the current time, (2) the interval timer, and (3) a stopwatch. Those 3 functions are incredibly simple and basic, and without the vibrating function, are things the cheapest watch from the 1980s could easily do. If you happen to have such a cheap watch, you will notice that you can easily start the stopwatch, change the mode, set an alarm, start an interval timer, and then go back to the stopwatch mode, and you will find the stopwatch has continued to run while you were using the other functions. Incredibly, the GymBoss, manufactured in 2023, does not allow this. There is NO WAY for me to run the interval timer every 2 minutes automatically while also timing my work on a task to make sure I stop after 45 minutes! This is why I dinged this product by 1 star. It shows a staggering lack of imagination in the designers as to the potential uses for this device. Luckily, it DOES let you peek at the time while using one of the other functions. So, that's great, while vibrating every 2 minutes I can still memorize that "I need to finish this task by 1:52" and keep track of things that way, but jeez, for $30 I was hoping I could just use the stopwatch instead and simply remember "stop when the stopwatch reads 45 minutes", to reduce my mental burden.Third, it maxes out at 99 sets; in my usage (with 2 identical intervals), the effective maximum is 198. That's not such a big deal though, since I can just turn it off and back on once or twice during the day to reset the count back to zero.In conclusion, as far as I am aware this is the one product out there that (mostly) does what I need for time management and focus management, by offering a 1-second wrist vibration at any interval (up to 99 minutes, which is far longer than I would ever need), continuing essentially throughout the whole day. It's disappointing that the stopwatch function cannot be used simultaneously, and it seems needlessly huge, but I'm excited to put it to use, and I will try to just work around its limitations.Update 4/5/23 - After a couple days of all-day use (1 second vibration every 2 minutes):-The battery is still full, so that's great.-The maximum of 99 sets is a non-issue; when you reach 99 it vibrates continuously, which admittedly is a little annoying, but I just press Start to stop the vibrations and Start again to launch another 99 sets.-When the watch vibrates, I often want to check the time to make sure I'm on target for my goal. This requires pressing the left button to peek at the clock. I'm starting to notice what an inconvenience that is. Several times, I've been washing dishes or eating oily food and it's a hassle to clean off my fingers first. This is another criticism where I could use the word "staggering" again, because there's a big blank space at the top left of the device which would be perfect for showing the time, regardless of what mode you're in. But of course, as I mentioned it's a cheap 80s device - that portion of the display is dedicated to alphabetical characters so it cannot be used to display the time.-Instead of checking the time, it's possible to use the readout from the interval timer to calculate how much total time has elapsed since starting an activity; it depends on what intervals you're using but since I'm on 2-minute intervals, it's fairly straightforward. But, it does mean I need to first reset to 0 sets by doing this: (1) stop the timer with 3 presses of Start, (2) hold down Set to turn the watch off, (3) press any button to turn watch back on, (4) press Start.Update 5/19/23 - I've been using the GymBoss about 5 days/week, 10-12 hrs/day, for 7 weeks, vibrating for 1 sec every 2 min. A day or two ago the battery charge dropped down to 1/3 so I am charging it for the first time. So probably, one charge is good for about 10 weeks with this amount of vibration. The limitations of the clock/timer functions are still annoying. What I do is either memorize the target time, or (if I'm working on a laptop) I'll jot down the target time somewhere accessible.I have gone through significant periods where I was ignoring the watch completely, without really meaning to. The mind adjusts to the recurring stimulus until it vanishes from your awareness. That said, it's pretty easy to resume attention. Aside from basic motivation, there are two important requirements for making this work. One, you have to have a clear schedule written down, and two, you need to be working hard to "let go" of any external or internal distractions, compulsions, etc. that would interfere with following the schedule. Under those conditions, I think 2-minute reminders are useful and helps to minimize wasted time.

watchstrap does not secure
got the Gymboss Charge Interval Timer and Stopwatch & Watchstrap - Bundle, The gymboss works really well and easy to program. the watch strap does not hold the gymboss on securely which causes it to constantly fall off. several times it fell off while running onto the concrete. Not sure if my watch strap is just defective. but could you please make a better watch strap. that holds the gymboss securely.

Sturdy and Simple - Battery life is amazing
Sturdy, simple, easy to set, battery lasts a really long time. I charged it once 4 months ago and it still shows it as full (there are 3 battery pips, and all 3 are still filled out). The wrist strap is good, and I've ran sprints and jogged with it on. The belt clip stays on while lifting no problem. I've dropped it a number of times and there's not even a hint of damage.

Heat or Sun will permanently damage display
If you leave this in your car for even a short time on a hot day (not even in direct sunlight), it will damage the cheap display. This is extremely cheap quality (regardless of carbon finish). No surprise that it is extremely large, so you will look like an idiot wearing this outside of your workout. Lastly, I hate the fact that the interval timer doesn't start beeping until after the interval is over.Conclusion... so close to being a great product. It's almost as though the engineers wanted subpar garbage. My recommendation; get an Apple watch. Fitbits are garbage too (battery life sucks).

A timer you'll hear and feel
This is by far the best timer I have bought. I use the countdown timer for work and it has not failed me. Both the loud and quiet beep are extremely easy to hear even a a good distance. I clip it to my belt and the vibration is so strong you can't miss it. If your looking for a timer worth the cost this is the one.
