ESV Value Compact Bible (TruTone, Brown) Imitation Leather – April 30, 2015

Never read the bible before - I don't go to church - no one I know is religious... but my new job incidentally has me going to church for like 2 hours every sunday so I figured I shouldn't waste the opportunity to read this and learn so why not?I think for the price this bible is worth the compromises in print size and the thin paper but this will absolutely not last you very long if you are keeping it in a back pocket. I would consider this more of a quick reference kind of thing and not something you should be using as your full time bible... Kiiiiiind of regret this but I suppose I'll bring this for church on sundays and look the part at least - I ended up also buying a full size regular bible for real reading/studying for 4x the price of this one.Good luck with what ever journey yall are on.

Sturdy, perfect size and just what my son needed for school to take up less space given he needs his Bible daily. He was so excited to use it today!

So happy I took a chance and purchased this bible. I had read several mixed reviews. Specifically the ones about the transparency of the pages and text bleeding through. There is shadow visible behind the text , but it doesn’t impede my ability to read it. As you can see from the picture. It will fit nicely in a medium size purse.

For under $10 you can get a decent Bible that fits just about anywhere. Kid needed a new Bible that they could throw in their bag without it being too bulky. The font is small so definitely not for people who constantly forget their glasses. It's not real leather and at $10 I wouldn't expect it to be. This is a Bible you can throw in your purse or car and it not take up a ton of space.
