Very useful after surgery or skin graft
I bought this to keep my lower leg dry in the shower after a serious injury (spitting cobra bite to ankle) which required significant reconstructive plastic surgery and skin grafts to fix. After the skin graft, my leg had to be kept dry for several weeks. But I still wanted to wash daily. This does the job brilliantly, is easy to apply (though not alone - you do need someone to help you!) and is reliable for multiple re-use. The plastic is strong and good quality. I am a slim size 12 and the cuff was great in terms of sizing: well sealed around my leg, but never uncomfortable. The cuff is made of soft rubber and feels easily adjustable. To keep the skin graft on my lower leg protected, I needed help from someone else to hold the top (stretchy) cuff open while putting it on or taking it off, so that the cuff didn’t ever touch the injured part of my leg. MUCH easier, quicker and far more reliable than wrapping your limb in a bin bag and sticking it to your skin with tape (which is what I was doing before). Would thoroughly recommend to anyone trying to wash, but still keep an injured limb completely dry at the same time after surgery.

It works very nicely
Not sure this would work for me as I've got big feet and skinny legs - think Minnie Mouse - but it was fine and dry. I found it easy to put on myself which is fortunate as there's only me anyway. Good in the shower, and I also used it for my favourite treat - a big bath. I kept the "total immersion" time to a minimum, then lay back and watched my floating foot..... As a previous reviewer pointed out - dry the outside before you take it off.

Keeps foot dry
Very good at keeping foot dry after surgery. I found it difficult to put on without my husbands help.

Waterproof great works well
A family member has broken there wrist had a cast on and I am helping them out so when we where talking about shower time I was not prepared to shower them down myself (ain’t ready for that ) and they were getting anxious over it. so we got this so they could get in and shower by themselves privately and let me tell you this was perfect and great value works great is definitely waterproof and fits perfectly. so now all I have to do is pop this on them and they can shower to their heart’s content without me in there helping. perfect for the independent and would definitely recommend would definitely buy again and I told them to keep it safe once cast is off just incase lol

Does what it says on the tin.
This worked really well. No leakages so kept my foot bandage perfectly dry. Some hilarious moments taking it off to start with but soon got the hang of it. It’s easy to clean and wipe dry. You do have to be careful if walking around on bathroom floor tiles (just common sense really). Apart from beware of tiles it’s easy to move around wearing this. Only wore a few times so I can’t really pass judgement on the durability but it looks well made and did the job.

Worked 1st time
I needed a waterproof cover for my toes and I really needed a shower, I mean.... I REALLY needed a shower, I had a dressing on my toe and the nurse screwed up her nose when I took my sock off. I presented my foot to her and watched her face. That look, all in one grimace said it all "OMG what have I got here., followed by a look of "What's going to crawl out? I don't get paid enough to discover a new species of flesh-eating bugs and Well at least I didn't have any breakfast this morning". She tentatively removed the the soggy dressing and said "Do your feet sweat much usually?" Well yes, I do have sweating feet but I usually can wash them, so I told her I was just following the instructions I was given by the medical staff. She replied by spraying some sort of pink fluid around, then pulled a pair of plastic gloves and finally topped it off with a paper mask, Charming, I thought. Then the redressing proceeded, I think she was talking, but I am slightly deaf and by putting a mask on she stopped me from seeing what she was saying (I mainly lip-read). When she finished the dressing and removed her gloves and her mask she said so just keep the toe dry and we will see you next week. Just get that boot shaped plastic cover from Amazon, they are quite cheap and apparently worked well at keeping the foot dry. So armed with that information Home I limped and onto Amazon I got, eventually purchased the correct plastic appliance which was duly delivered. Great, I limped to the bathroom, undressed and put the appliance onto my foot. The opening to squeeze the foot through seemed small, but it did stretch to accommodate the foot with dressing intact: then. shower completed; some 20 minutes later; and removed from the boot, toe dry, GREAT! So attempted 2nd shower on the day of the appointment, not so great, BOOT Leaked!!!!!!

Totalmente recomendable.
