This completely stopped the downstairs tenants cooking odors from smelling up my upstairs studio apartment. No smells at all! I live in a two story home where the downstairs is rented and my upstairs studio is my rental and we share a kitchen that's adjacent to the stairway that takes me upstairs to my home. For 6 years I have had to smell their food cooking. It's over powering and my curtains and bedding and living space smells like broccoli, garlic and burned out toasted cooking odors... opening my windows just draws more of the smell up to my space. My studio is 20x30 and the stairway. I was desperate and this was advertised as a lightning deal. I bought the smoke/smell filter option. It's was real easy to set up; ask I had to do it that the sealed bag off the filter and plug it in. There was already the smell of their dinner in my space when I set it up and I was expecting it to help eliminate or reduce the smell that was lingering but it didn't. I'm the morning my space was fresh: so fresh it almost felt cool and breezy. I've been running non stop since I plugged it in the first night and ALL SMELL IS GONE and STAYS GONE! They had friends over. So I go through the kitchen to go outside as to not bother them in their living room. The kitchen smelled wonderful with all kinds of food including chicken wings they had delivered... their space of like a fast food restaurant. I came back a half hour later, walked through their kitchen that's was still overwhelming incredible party food smells and went up to my space through the upstairs stairway just off our shared kitchen. My space HAD NO SMELLS AT ALL! It was completely fresh. It the very top of my stairway you could smell the kitchen but I'm my studio space I couldn't smell anything. I think ... When I first plugged it in that first evening the dust in my studio had smells trapped to them. Overnight that first night, the dust was removed so all the residual smell was cleaned out too. There's no dust anywhere in my space and it was crazy dusty especially the hallway to the stairwell. No dust. No smells. And it's VERY quiet. when it on high speed and TV is on you can't hear it at all and it doesn't interfere with the TV sound: I don't have to turn TV up because it's that quiet. I have a white noise machine to block out the traffic noise and thev sound of this air cleaner is quieter than that even when it's on high speed: it's a very soothing sound I bought two replacement filters. Each one is suppose to last about 2 months. The fan has 3 speeds and the low is really nothing and it sounds like it's off but it does still move a lot of air. I leave it in the medium. I read online that high speed can actually work against the filtering is it's in a small space because of the air movement blows the room air around too much. I just keep it on medium until bed and then I put it on low. It does have a sleep setting and timer and a child lock but I'm not using those functions at all. The blue glow light is not a problem at all I'm fact the glow is so low I use it for the hall night light and I removed the night light I had plugged into the hallway outlet. I'm extremely pleased I'm actually over joyed with it My curtains, bedding, furniture, clothes and bathroom towels are FRESH and SMELL FREE. I highly recommend this air cleaner fg it's amazingly effective. It's so small and light that you could move it anywhere but I've found the sweet spot just at the top of the stairway in the hall to my studio... life is all mine again without anyone's life stinking up mine. They are actually ordering one now two because the fellow downstairs needed to get to the attic. He came up and actually said wow it's so fresh up here; did you have the windows open all day. I said no it's too cold you do that but I did get this air cleaner. They'll get it tomorrow!

I've had this filter for almost a year now, and it has been running (on a low setting) for almost that entire time. It's on my kitchen counter and I have it running all the time to just generally clean up the air. Occasionally, I’ll turn it up to high, if I’m cooking something that produces a lot of smoke. It does a really good job of getting the smoke out of the air fairly quickly. I don’t change the filter very often, and it still runs great. On the silent and low settings, it's mostly unnoticeable. It does make a little noise at high, but it's similar to a small fan running on low, still pretty quiet. I just rinse the filter off and let it dry, and that’s been working well. I don’t have a lot of odors for it to be clearing, so I’m not terribly worried about the charcoal. At ~$80, it is a little pricey, but so far for me, it’s been worth it.

Love, love, love this air purifier that I bought 2 of them. One for the bedroom and other for the living room. This way I have clean air everywhere as it takes up much room space. Usually I wake up with stuffy nose but ever since I started using this no stuffy nose EVER!!! Wherever I am in the house, it is on and running. I love the silent mode for when I’m watching a movie and the non-silent mode for when I sleeping sometimes. I just wish it had remote control and comes in different colors but hey I’m in-love with this so who cares lol

It seems to be working fine but it has to be reset after 8 hours.

I have purchased three of these air purifiers. We keep one in each occupied bedroom and one in the living area. I appreciate that they don’t take up much space. They are easy to operate and are aesthetically pleasing enough. We purchased to help with our dog’s dander and any loose mold spores that may be in the air. I put one in our laundry room for awhile because of the musty smell that hung in the air. The next time I walked in there I could feel the difference. It smelled lighter and felt drier than before. The first two I began using at the same time, and I’ve had to change one filter so far. It lasted approximately 2 months. It was dirty when I removed it which indicates it is functioning properly. They are also pretty quiet. I can sleep with it on low next to my head without issue, but it does have a sleep mode. Overall, I have no complaints and would recommend for an affordable air purifier. Update: The third one we purchased separately from the first two. When the unit is ON but not RUNNING it has this incredibly high pitched frequency that is similar to your ears ringing. I haven’t noticed any issues with its functionality, but I definitely make sure I unplug it when not in use.

As someone who would constantly wake up in the middle of the night with a cough and stuffy nose, I have had this air purifier for 1 day and have already slept through the night with completely clear sinuses! It is almost noon the next day and I have not had to blow my nose or clear my throat once, which is unheard of for me. My stuffy apartment smells better too. I haven’t even dusted or vacuumed yet and it is already making a huge difference in my daily life, I can’t wait to do a deep clean on top of it! It really works and is 100% worth the money!

I have two purifiers and I could not survive without them. For a week one of my purifiers needed a new filter, which I didn’t have. Within 24 hours my allergies were so bad that I couldn't breathe. Within 3 hours of replacing the filter I could breathe easier. The filters are super easy to replace and a flashing light tells you when to replace. The size is perfect and I love how quiet it is and I can choose the speed. You won't believe how effective it is in removing the dust and filtering out the allergens. It is so quiet that I run it on Medium while sleeping. I am so sold on my purifiers that I recommend them to anyone who has allergies.

These are perfect! I ordered a couple of them, including for my kids rooms. One of my children has pet rats, and this keeps the air clean and fresh - cutting down on the respiratory infections these little guys are prone to. Using them in our main living areas is great too, very quiet and compact, so there's no disruption when you're watching TV, on Zoom calls etc. For the price, this is an amazing product.

Should have bought this years ago ! Used for this winter and over three months the filter was brown and filled with dirt despite having immaculate house. I used this outside spouses bedroom while they recovered from the flu and no one else got sick. The low setting is pretty silent and the next setting is whisper quiet. Already purchased replacement filters and there are many vendors who offer reasonable replacements so availability is not an issue. Changing filter takes less than a minute. Remember to remove plastic cover from filter in bottom of unit on arrival!! Have one at kids apartment bedroom as I'm not sure how often landlord cleans the main furnace filters there. For the price it's a no brainer, just get it! Cleans out cooking odours and bathroom odours quickly in addition to dust. Also has a timer for auto shut off. Great product !

I kept accumulating so much dust in my 1400 square-foot apartment. It was so bad I would keep dusting every day I would cough so much and sneeze so much. Finally, I was recommended this product. I tried it out and it was perfect. It stopped all my symptoms and I don’t have to dust every day anymore. I rotate the humidifier from my room to my living room and it’s absolutely perfect. Highly recommend

I can’t tell how well it works as there has been nothing in the filter. It’s possible our basement air quality is okay though. It is quiet and seems to run nicely.
