I've tried just about every facial cleanser on the market over the past 20 years. For the longest time, I settled on CeraVe as my go-to. It felt like a solid, dependable choice. But then I tried this, and everything changed. CeraVe is still a decent second, but it’s a distant second. Sure, it cleans your face, but when you’re done, there’s no real feeling of transformation. No real difference. With Kiehl’s, that’s not the case. When I rinse it off, my face feels fresh, revitalized—new. The skin looks clearer, smoother, even a bit brighter. It’s almost unbelievable how noticeably clean and healthy it looks afterward. There’s a level of satisfaction I get from using Kiehl’s that no other cleanser has come close to matching. And that’s not a dig at CeraVe—it’s a great option for people with sensitive skin who want something gentle and effective. But Kiehl’s goes the extra mile. It delivers results you can see and feel. The only downside? It can be a little drying. But that’s easily resolved with a quality moisturizer post-use. For me, it’s a non-issue. Bottom line: I don’t see myself using anything else.

This facial wash is great and lightweight! It does not leave your face sticky after use. It is unscented, but like all “unscented” items, it has a scent, but it is not noticeable.

Really nice lather. 4 stars only because I cannot use this alone. It works best if double cleansing (this wash 1st the something gentle after). When I use alone I get small acne and clogged pores. When using Cetaphil wash after, it's a perfect clean without drying out.

Have bought this multiple times. Amazon has deals where they have better prices than other stores so if you watch it you can get it for a good discount. This is a great face wash for most skin types.

I was hesitant because it was so expensive, but encouraged by other reviews stating that a little goes a long way. It really does. This bottle will honestly last probably at least 6 months, if not more for me. Really removes my sunscreen and makeup without being harsh, abrasive or too drying.

So far, the best all-around facial cleanser that doesn't dry out my skin. My husband likes it, too. It may seem pricey, but I only have to use a pea size amount, so it lasts a long time.

I've been using Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed with it. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without making it feel dry or tight afterwards. The texture is light and foamy and you only need a small amount so the bottle lasts a long time. I also like that it feels gentle on my skin, even when I use it every day. It removes oil and dirt really well, but still keeps my skin soft and smooth
