Extremely potent stuff!♡♡
This is probably some of the best hair dye I've used! I thought the jar was too small at first but it turns out a little goes a long way, and even more so when mixed with a small bit of conditioner. It does feel a bit dry compared to dyes like Unicorn Hair and it takes absolutely ages for it to wash out after using. But it looks so good!♡♡ Bad news first: it stains EVERYTHING. And if you're like me where you nosedive into it with gloveless behavior, you're going to have some very colorful mitts for a while. BUT (good news) Hand sanitizer works wonders washing it off your skin (it works on permanent marker, so why not) and I personally use The Pink Stuff to scrub it off the sink/bathtub with ease. ♡ So don't fret too much about stains, wear an old T shirt if you can, good luck, and have fun!♡

Better than Pravana Color Vivids
This is a long one but bare with me. I have been dying my hair with Pravana Color Vivids Violet for 4 years now. I bleach my hair every 4 months and would have to color my hair with Pravana every 3-4 weeks to maintain a non faded purple. I wash my hair every 2-3 days given how active I am and use a non spray fry shampoo in-between washes. It was rough, but if you have a bright color you know the struggle. Well in the last year Pravana has gotten harder and harder to find and they’ve changed their formula. I ended up needing to give myself a refresh for a last minute event and couldn’t get any Pravana in in time so I stumbled upon this dye. Reading the reviews I was skeptical but it was the only one I could get in time. I tried it my have been absolutely blown away with the quality! Pros: -The color LASTS!!! 7weeks until I needed a refresh. I’m talking washing every other day and heat styling! And it was still bright and vivid. -The fade out is even. (IYKYK) -The color is vibrant! (Granted it’s not the same hue I’ve been used to with Pravana, but it looks amazing!) Cons: -It does stain in the washout, but no worse then Pravana has for me in the past. And it’s easy to clean off of surfaces with a bit of all purpose cleaner as long as you don’t let it sit too long. But I do recommend wearing gloves during the washout and doing an initial sink rinse before a shower unless you want to be scrubbing your body post color rinse. -You will get purple nails for the first few days until you are a couple washes into the color cycle. -There was a slight color transfer to my pillowcase on the first night. But after a second wash I had no problems. FYIs -It is a more blue based violet. So the fade out leans into a blue fade out.

Beautiful color. Easy to apply. Do read my story though and learn from my mistakes 🤪
Ok. So first, I color my hair all the time. Lately though the color doesn't "attach" to my hair, only in some spots. I did research and it just didn't give me any real answers. So I started looking at different hair color kit options. I've done the red/burgundy, blue and some green. I wanted something different and found this product. The reviews were decent so I tried it. I only bought 1 container and worried it wouldn't be enough as I usually use 2 tubes/kits and whatnot. Then it's more of a paste than liquid but it's soft and gooey and it's easy to apply. 1 container was more than enough. Than the wait. There's a smell but not hugely offensive. I was reading as I waited and noticed some spots looked shiny and not purple. 🫤 it threw me off but like I said my hair has been weird so I decided to wait and see. I rinsed it in the shower and of course that's always a mess, but it's the price you pay beauty 😆 anyhow, when I opened my eyes, my hands were completely purple. As were spots on my legs where the water runs off. Holy balls, I did panic. While no one who knows me would be surprised this would happen to me, I do work in a professional office and I cannot look like a cheap knockoff smurf! I got out and looked in the mirror, I was most certainly turning purple. Once I breathed, I finished showering and used polish remover on my hands and a cotton pad with alcohol on my face, neck and ears. I'm happy to say, I'm no longer purple. 🙂 the hair color is gorgeous and it took to all of my hair. I will be using it again. With gloves on when I wash it off and on a Friday night so I have 2 days to return to my normal non purple complexion.

This stuff is saturated!
My daughter wanted to dye her hair purple so we picked the amethyst color. Let me just say that this stuff smells really good, blends really good, and is a very saturated color. The color comes out very pretty, however, I think that it would’ve been better if her hair was just a little bit more bleached beforehand. My daughter’s hair is kind of a medium blonde color and it came out so dark on her hair. I wasn’t expecting it to turn her hair so dark. The other thing is that the stuff takes forever to wash out of your hair. She was in there for so long trying to wash the stuff out. It stained the entire shower. The color was just so intense and never-ending. I’ve used color die before and never had one quite this staining. It also stained her face and she looked like the blueberry from Willy Wonka lol. I was able to scrub the dye out of her face, but it took a lot of work. Just be very careful when using this. If you want intense color, this is definitely a good dye. But you gotta be very careful and I would suggest lightning your hair quite a bit before using it.

Surprised at how well it took on my greys!
I'm going grey from very dark brown hair. Ive been dying it my original natural color for quite a while and finally grew all the dye out and had virgin hair again. I had always wanted a fun vivid fashion color, but never wanted to bleach my nearly black hair. My mom was a cosmetologist and while I've never bleached my hair out of fear of frying it, I always had access to professional color and was comfortable with the single process after years of my mom doing it for me at home. I used a redkin semipermanent violet color for a very subtle plum glow under a light and age perfect permanent colors in both darkest plum and darkest intense brown to much success. From my mom, I knew once I started going grey that I needed to go from 10v to 20v developer bc grey hair just doesnt take permanent dye as easily, nor will it really absorb semipermanent color. So even though my hair is now light, I did not expect this color to take as it is recommended for neither dark nor grey hair. I tried the amethyst since Ive used purple color before (which I loved but violet tones bleed like crazy and I got sick of that, browns don't bleed) and figured it would either leave my hair black, or not take at all. The thick color application was different but easy (esp with nothing to mix), USE GLOVES and clean DRY hair and protect your ears and hairline. I bagged my head and let it sit fot 90 minutes with no heat. I rinsed it for about 15 minutes.....you won't get that water clear, and I actually washed it 2x bc I didn't want it bleeding everywhere (I don't think you are supposed to wash it out, just rinse). I didnt wear gloves while rinsing/ washing and thought my hands were stained purple....I was afraid to see my face. My hair was a dark but extremely vivid bluish purple that glowed under light (color is NOT subtle, pics dont do it justice). The pepper went black and the salt went purple, and it was super shiny. Its gradually fading.....not quickly. Pics are virgin, directly after dying/washing 2x, after about 2-3 more washes, and then after about 8-9 total washes, where some of my salt is now lavender. It bleeds a little in the shower but does not rub off on my pillow (it might if it were wet, not sure), but it doesnt bleed anywhere near as much as I expected. The color is vivid and iridescent. I'm impressed and might try the emerald now that I've been able to go bright without frying my hair or committing to permanent color.

Great color but WILL STAIN EVERYTHING
I really like the color & hue but it stained my hands when rinsing it out (my fault as I should've worn gloves when rinsing). Also, when I woke up the next morning my face was purple where my hair had rested against it! I have never experienced this when using overtone. It's a bummer because I really do like the color & price.

If you want bold vibrant colors this is the one
This is the 3rd time using these blues and purples. The color coverage is amazing. I had shamrock green hair from a min of manic panic in my hair but wanted it back to my signature "bella blue". The amazing coverage and tones are just phenomenal. I included a picture of the green hair I started with along with pictures of how the colors blended. I didn't foil my hair, this is purely brushing the purple on the roots and along the bottom and blue all over the ends. Nothing is uniform so I take no credit for all the multi tones other then the incredible INH color quality. I have used professional color lines like joico and pravana that haven't been this pigmented for years( at least 15 yrs of fun hair colors)

One of the most bleeding kinds I've used
Update: After seeing this review, the company reached out to me and offered a full refund which I truly appreciate. 5 star customer service and customer response. I have been dying my hair with semi-permanent vivids for a long time. Close to 16 years. I've used lots of brands and sometimes I like to change it up. This one looked like it was a great purple so I wanted to give it a shot. I used gloves and did all the things you're supposed to do before coloring your hair at home. Like I said I've been doing this for a while. I have never experienced one bleed this much ever. The staining on my shower is more than I've ever seen. The picture was after cleaning it twice. The picture of my purple hand is from me putting my hair in a ponytail today. Just touching my hair, that is dry, transfers color. I went to bed with dry hair last night and woke up with my neck completely purple. Thank God I have black sheets! I'm having to be careful to not get my hair on anything like my sofa or on my t-shirt. In my 16 years of doing my hair I have never experienced something this bad. It's so bad that it actually thinking about using a clarifying shampoo tonight just to try and get the bleeding to stop! I'm super bummed because the purple is amazing. It's a great color. But man, I am completely regretting using this and I am not sure what I'm going to do to keep myself from looking purple for at least a week. To top it off anywhere at rinsed on my body last night with stained purple and I had to scrub pretty hard to get it off. And then I started getting an allergic reaction to anywhere that it touched. I really do not recommend this product unless you are totally okay with your body and all your things being the color of Barney.

Very very impressed. 10/10 highly recommend
This hair color is insanely good. I have never strayed from my vegan Manic Panic. But this was worth straying for. However. This is not what I THOUGHT it was. But I think I was a little dumb. Basically, I had bought Rock the locks VERY TEMPORARY "conditioner hair mask depositing color" but the store sold out and are not restocking it. I decided I would look for another, typed in conditioner hair color depositing mask, and INH is the one that popped up. It DOES say it is conditioning, however, it is BY FAR not a temporary mask, which I would have figured out had I read it less quickly hahaha. Alicia: if it says semi permanent on the box, it is not a temporary color depositing mask. Hahahah. Anyway, it was a very pleasant mistake to make. I was using temporary color that sits on top of the hair instead of staining the hair follicle because I was trying to keep my natural brown underneath once this fades. I do not know if I will have a hair stain, purple hair stain almost never happens, so I will update this to report back on how it fades. But for right now, if I had put this color in on bleached blonde hair, my hair would be bright electric purple. I have several strands of grey hairs that are literally electric ultra violet purple. Since I did not bleach my hair, it turned out a gorgeous deep violet that pops like CRAZY in the sun. As with any dye: you NEED gloves. This color stains things HAAARD. You HAVE to rinse the dye out until you stop getting extremely dark dye colored water. After 15 rinses I simply gave up, but I clearly way overloaded my hair with dye, left it in a very long time since it's vegan (VEGAN IS PART OF WHY I BOUGHT IT. color deposits sooo much better if it's vegan and you can leave it in a looong time rather than 20 mins for a harsh box dye) and clearly needed more rinsing but my arms were just dead hahahah. So I am getting dye soaked hands and face and pillow case and clothing simply because my hair is still so dye soaked that it's transferring. However, I do believe that's avoidable by simply rinsing your hair longer than I did. My hair is about 3 feet long and 4 ounces of hair dye covers my whole head, however I have VERY thin hair, so take that as you will. The first couple showers you are going to maybe want to use gloves and wash your hair in a sink to avoid having to use rubbing alcohol to scrub color trails off your body and hands hahahah. But obviously that will lessen a LOT after the first couple showers once you get the dye properly fully rinsed. Just be aware that yes this dye is vegan, but it's still gonna stain clothing and yes you may need to use comet to clean your sink or shower after the first couple showers, but that's pretty normal for any dye really. Overall, 10/10 incredible color and seems like it's gonna last quite a long time. Very highly recommend. Pics show the color difference between sun and normal lighting and one pic of the color my hair was before I put the purple on and left it in maybe 4 hours in a shower cap. Very impressed :) I believe the color variance from the ends of my hair to the top of my head are due to having to continually squeeze the water out of my hair when showering, so I believe the ends are less dye soaked and therefore a bit if a lighter color. But it's kind of a neat gradient! My scalp clearly has more dye that needs rinsing compared to the ends due to the squeezing likely.

Best Purple INH hair dye !!!
Amazing INH Hair Dye! This is honestly one of the best hair dyes I’ve ever used. The color turned out vibrant and even, and it didn’t dry out my hair at all. It’s easy to apply, lasts well, and it smells super good — way better than most dyes. I’m definitely buying this again! , is really hard to find the perdect shade of purple , I used to mix blue olor with purple so make a vibrant purple but now I don’t have to mix anything , cuz I found the perfect purple shade

Best Purple and Best Red
This product so far is the best purple dye I have tried. I haven't done any washes yet but the initial vibrancy and the way it's really saturated my hair tells me this is a huge win. The only disadvantage, as with any strong colour like this, it stains. Be careful to use it around anything porous. I would recommend only washing it out with a handheld tap or shower head and not let it run down your body ideally. I was able to get it out of my white tiling in the shower and plastic drain by using a magic eraser. Anyways, I love that it doesn't use harsh chemicals and am super happy with the product. For the purple, it comes out exactly as pictured, and my hair wasn't blonde. I had medium brown with light purple tips. It's made the brown a super nice deep ultra violet and then my ends are like electric purple. Highly recommend 🥰 Update - I tried the red on my brown hair and it turned out just like the bottle!! I can't get over how odourless it is too in comparison to other dyes. It's awesome. Oh and somehow it didn't stain my scalp that bad either. The red didn't anyway ...I can't remember if the purple did or not. But yes sooooo good and I've tried a few different semi permanent brands. Definitely worth buying🩷
