This saw is compact, well-made and sharp. I use it for all kinds of pruning and cleanup.

Somehow I'd gotten though a lot of life without a folding saw. Don't make the same mistake. These are so handy, lightweight, and functional that everyone needs at least one. On camping trips, they eliminate the need for an axe, and speed cutting wood by probably 20X. You can use them for all kinds of bushcraft in addition to just cutting firewood. I also use mine for cutting woody weeds and unwanted shrubs, and it is still the best tool I have for that after having experimeneted with all kinds of garden clearing devices, including electrified ones. This particular saw is a good size, but a little flimsy, and the blade wobbles a bit. It hasn't failed to function yet, but it doesn't give me the "rock solid" feeling of my other folding saws. Some of that no doubt is due to the length of the blade - which is longer than usual but what I prefer as I don't find the length to be a problem, and sometimes it is a big help. Overall these aren't costly, work very well, and solve a bunch of cutting problems in a light weight portable package that should work for just about everyone except those involved in the most intensive wood cutting, in which case, a full size fixed blade would be the better choice. For the rest of your uses this should work well and this particular example of a folding saw is at adequate, sharp, and a good size if a bit wobbly.

I LOVE this saw! I have chronic pain in my arms, and this is the easiest saw to use I’ve ever found! It saws through live and dead wood, it’s light and compact enough to fit in a work bag, and the folding mechanism is easy to use. I use this saw constantly. It saws through wood without hanging up, which is great!

This saw works great for pruning, especially in tight spots. The blade cuts very efficiently and really does a great job on the pull-stroke as well as the push. You don't need to bear down on it much, just let the blade do the work. The value is really good for the price. I like their box knives too.

I bought this saw just incase I'm jammed up in tight spot on a trail. I've had it for awhile. Finally, I had the opportunity to try it out. I had my doubts but this saw cut an 8" tree in, literally, seconds. The mother is sharp. Compact design fits in the glove box. The blade is not very sturdy or thick and may bend if aggressive cutting. Absolutely use caution when cutting since this puppy is sharp. It will save the day if your in a pinch on the trail. Highly recommend keeping one handy. It is well worth the peace of mind.
