For those that like to take notes there are good and last for a long time, and my hubby love them since he has lots of notes to take. ink does not run or over clogs the end of the pen. so far no complains i mean it hard to complain about a pen but there is always an exception.

I have a theory: Because Bic has made billions of ballpoint pens, they know how to do it better than just about anyone else.. These cheap little pens write as well or better than any ballpoint I have ever tried -- regardless of price. In fact, when I can make them fit, I pull the refills out of these inexpensive Bics and use them them in a couple of my fancy, very expensive pens, because they just plain write better than the normal luxury pen refills that cost 10 or 20 times as much.

I use these pens daily in all sorts of weather conditions. The basic design allows me to slip them in an out of shirt or parka pockets with ease. I have yet to have one of the clips break on me which is saying something since I would say these pens make it in and out of my pockets 50+ times per day. The ink life is long in these pens and so far I have yet to have one leak which is saying something since they go from being outside in -30C to indoors. They don't write well when they get too cold, but not many ball point pens will. If I keep the pen in an inner pocket on cold days, they work just fine.
