I first learned of Axion at a vacation rental property in Mexico City. It was great. When I got home, I found a source on Amazon from Costa Rico, but that order never arrived. This time it did arrive from a different vendor. It works pretty well, but nothing like the much stronger version we used in Mexico. There must be some difference in the recipe - perhaps to follow safety precautions here?

I liked using this product when on a mission trip to Panama. Brought some home with us and continued using for our dishes. Great for greasy items, but to me it just seems cleaner instead of filling the sink with water and washing all the dishes in the same water. To use you run water and rub a sponge filled with the axion over your dirty dish, then rinse. No need for water to be hot to remove grease… I was so glad when I realized Amazon sells it since I ran out! It is more expensive than in Panama but until I can get someone to bring some back for me I guess this is a good solution! I seem to be in the habit of quickly washing a pan rather than waiting until I have a sinkful so the kitchen looks straighter!
