Great food!
My hermit crabs are loving this food. We’ve had our crabs for 1 year now and this is the first time we tried this food. They’ve been more active since putting this food in their dishes. Safe to say they enjoy it!

Great for a pet store food
Not only does this have a ton of nutrients, but the babies love it!! a good portion of their protein intake comes from this blend

Buyer beware! Springtail infestation
Purchased in November 2025. It's June 2026. Purchased for my daughter's hermit crabs. Sometime in April my daughter noticed that there were springtails in the tank, 55 gallon aquarium filled with sand, driftwood and for the past few months, several molting hermit crabs. Today, June 19th, she went to clean the tank change out the food and opened the container of food to discover the food is infested with springtails. Prior to seeing springtails, there had been no bugs in the tank at all. The sand that I purchased was boiled and baked prior to setting up the tank last July. I have to now discard all the sand and purchase new sand which will cost me over $100 to refill. I'll also gave to wait because we still have one crab who is buried and molting and disturbing it can surely cause it to die. Additionally, we have a dog and I'm realizing she's been scratching more frequently and springtails do bite pets much like fleas. Very unnerving
