Good quality.
Good fish in good oil. Not dry or fishy like so many others. The plain and the spicy are great.

Not Sardine But Actually Herring
I like this canned fish. The meat is firm, lightly salted, taste is mild, not fishy and just about the right quantity in the tin for one serving. However pilchard( true/classic European sardines ) lovers, the fish in this Brunswick tin is not pilchards but rather Northern Atlantic herring. This fact is stated under the ingredients section on the wrapping for the tin.

Delish dining experience
I opened this can to taste and was with great amazement knocked off my chair. I usually purchase canned fish in water, after this I'm having second thoughts. I have no words to describe the taste. The can size is sufficient, since I have a tendency to expect more. While happily enjoying my brunch... my cat decided to sit in front of me eyes fixed on my face... expecting me to share. Well, I could not deny her ! We both ate together enjoying our meal. Thereafter, to sum up our brunch it was very moist with oil and bones...do not recall. In regards to nutrition and health can not comment on that. Overall, it was a darn delish treat for our palattes.

These fish got slapped around...
2 out of 12. Not bad for being shipped in a sack, I guess. Won't be doing that again. Have had these herring before. Good stuff. UPDATE: Must have got a bad batch because these hard, dry, and salty. Also found another can dented. I'll keep my review at three stars because these don't reflect my usual experience.

Delicious option for protein intake
These are so good and just as delicious as the ones in spring water without being too oily. Great source of protein also.

Taste is Amazing
The best tasting sardines I have ever tried. They have a slightly less “fishy” taste and odor often associated with sardines. The fillets are larger and more appetizing than the average canned fish. I will continue to order in the future. 👍

Do not buy! Says Sardines in the packaging and Description but it’s “Herring” in the ingredient and its super bland in taste
