Just bought, received, and installed two 14 inch SideTrak Swivel monitors for my 15 inch Lenovo Legion gaming laptop and I am extremely impressed. The magnets are so strong and solid that I can swivel the monitors with one hand and they won’t dismount from their magnetic attachments. As you can see in my pictures, I have my laptop elevated with a steep tilt on my cooling pad. Picture quality, brightness, and screen quality are great.As always, I purchased the additional warranty like anyone should for electronic equipment over $200. It has saved me a few times for my other my other equipment.I also purchased padded cases and screen protectors. Part of the reason you would buy these monitors is for mobility, so you would need extra physical protection when carrying these wherever you go.Overall, these monitors were totally worth every dollar and it has my strongest recommendation.

If you are working remotely, this is a "must have"! I needed a 2nd monitor without all the fuss of setting one up in a new location every few days. The versatility is exactly what i needed. The monitor attaches to the back of the laptop magnetically allowing you to easily remove and travel and use on your lap or on a desk. The quality is fantastic and it is lightweight. I use a neoprene laptop protector sleve and it packs right up. 2 people saw me using it at a campground and immediately purchased one for themselves. I like that it pops off the back easily and adjusts. Great quality, worth every penny.

Great little monitor. Can most certainly be improved, but it does it’s job extremely well!Would most likely give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Rounded up.I use this display for both my desktop setup, and laptop. Being able to transition between both is amazing.Pro’s-Easily swap between setups with the magnet adjustment-Screen has good contrast and colors-Folds in back easily, and auto flips-design is much more elegant than competitors IMO.-Two extra mounts are only 15 bucks-Super light-Well protected when folded-Doesn’t need a dedicated outlet/power supply-lots of connection options-Works with switchCons:-If you don’t care about the portability and versatility, a monitor of these specs are around 1/3rd the price. (Though I definitely find it worth it).-The monitor hinge sags a slight bit. So you have to put the mounting plate at a slight angle to get it rest evenly-Strong ghosting and low response time. Probably my biggest complaint, with a response time higher than some tv’s I’ve see. But considering it’s a secondary monitor, it’s by no means a dealbreaker in any way.-Fairly dim display. Though you really can’t be too upset with that, considering it doesn’t need a dedicated outlet.-Sidtrak logo doesn’t flip. Looks ridiculous If you put it on your left side.Really enjoy this thing a lot! Made this review primarily to help give some critiques for a new version should one ever be made. But I’m perfectly happy with this one! Some of the cons I listed may be more or less important depending on the users use case.

I write machine code for a living, and have to travel fairly frequently. I have a fantastic 49" ultrawide at home that works great, but when I have to go out to a customer site, I definitely find the single laptop screen confining.Enter this Side Track. I have the 14" version, and it's almost flawless. Yes, I wish it were a bit nicer, had a brighter screen, higher resolution etc. But this device is so superior to the number of travel USB screens that also use USB C, it's like Alabama vs Montana State in football. The magnet holds very well, yet also has just the right amount of force required to remove it when I'm putting my stuff back in my bag at the end of the day.One thing I did learn, if you have discreet GPUs in your laptop (like I do, Nvidia 3070), sometimes those drivers interfere with the Side Track, and when you plug in the monitor you don't get any output to it. This is not the fault of the side track, this is some weird broken interaction between Nvidia and Windows. I can simply rerun the Nvidia graphics driver install and reboot, and voila! My Side Track is working again. This doesn't happen routinely, but is definitely annoying when it happens. I suspect this would happen with *any* USB C monitor you plugged in, not just the Side Track.TLDR; For road warriors, this is nearly a must have, but you might have some issues if you have a discreet GPU (which doesn't seem to be the fault of the Side Track).

The media could not be loaded.  I honestly think this screen is a life saver. It’s hard to say but I haven’t had glitch obviously I just had for a couple days but I gotta say it’s pretty great!

Really wish we could get credits for reviews it we don’t. However, as I travel for business every week, this monitor is a game changer. It’s easy set up but take your time and use the template for the magnet mount. Two cords then your in business.I received this monitor on a Sunday. By Monday I held a market meeting. I was able to flip the new monitor over and present in real time. This was huge in helping train others. It takes two cords to connect the monitor and bingo, your in business. I can’t say how awesome this monitor is.It folds and packs away with ease in my backpack. I am cautious of the cords and make sure I fold them away to ensure they do not break. Great purchase this far.

A definite game changer! I use it daily whether outside, in a conference room, at the kitchen table, or in my lap! Anywhere is now a productive work area. It could be a little cheaper, but the company saw a need and filled it, so kudos to them. There is a slight, I mean slight sag when using it, but I think it actually enhances the viewing angle, so it’s not an issue for me. If it’s in your budget, get it, you won’t be disappointed!
