Fits perfectly. Glad I found it and can use the pressure cooker again. Replaced a few months ago and it preforms well.

It's the right part, but you wouldn't know so from reading the product listing
Fissler is surprisingly circumspect with describing which gasket is needed for which pot; and Amazon doesn't make things any better by listing classic or legacy product names in the description for this gasket, while it really is meant for modern pressure cookers. This is the correct gasket for all of the larger (i.e. 26cm) pressure cookers made since 2010. All of these pots require the 600-000-26-795 (sometimes listed as 600-000-26-795/0), and that's what you are getting with this product listing. There is a similar product for smaller pot sizes with an 18cm or 22cm diameter. And as you might have guessed, the product number changes slightly and becomes 600-000-18-795 or 600-000-22-795. Note the 18, 22, and 26 in the product number. If on the other hand, you have a pot made in 2009 or earlier, it most likely came with a gasket that is marketed as 038-6X7-00-205/0, where the letter "X" is replaced with a "1" for the 18cm gasket, a "6" for the 22cm gasket, or "8" for the 26cm gasket. The older version had a grooved edge, double ridges, or a noticeable lip designed for the older lids. As far as I can tell, these gaskets aren't interchangeable and if you buy the wrong type it'll simply leak. Finally, if you are uncertain which gasket you might have, look on the inside of the gasket. It has an embossed part number. Confusingly, this number is different from the actual product number. For the product in this listing, you should see the numbers 600-700-00-205 for the 26cm gasket. If you have a smaller gasket, then you'll see 600-300-00-205 for the 22cm model, or 600-100-00-205 for the 18cm model. If on the other hand, you have an old-style gasket, you'll likely see numbers such as 038-617-00-201, 038-667-00-201, or 038-687-00-201 embossed on the inside, depending on whether you have the 18cm, 22cm, or 26cm model respectively.

It fits, it works
Seemed silly to rate it 5 stars. How can you love a gasket. Had to replace our old one (our fault). This one fit. We use it weekly. Works fine.

Fits 8 quart Vitaquik 26 cm/10.25”
I wasn’t sure at all what I was going to actually receive. But decided to take a chance and just return it if it wasn’t a correct fit. Now I can share. This is a Fissler gasket. The info from the seller posting this gasket and for this gasket size and what it fits is not totally clear and confusing. As is Fissler’s website. The packaging the gasket arrived in, lists with photos of each model that the gasket fits. And it fits the 8 quart vitaquik, vitavit comfort & premium & edition. It looks exactly like the original gasket. There is no part number or product code printed on the replacement gasket. There was no part number or product code printed on the gasket that came with my 8 quart vitaquick presser cooker. BTW- I got 4 years out of the first gasket. The replacement gasket feels slightly firmer than the used up one. The pressure cooker simply would not seal so my stew became a low slow simmer cooking process. Might be that the gasket lasted so long because I only use this pressure cooker during the cold winter months. It’s not my main cooking equipment for all foods. But worth noting. Once the pressure cooker lid quits sealing it’s a simple fix to replace the gasket.
