Surprising airflow, quality, well worth the extra money
GREAT airflow. My 2021 RAM has had lousy airflow on heat and cooling ever since I got it, I wouldn't have dreamed a simple filter swap would resolve it. This sure did. And washable, the last filter I'll buy?! Easily worth the extra money. Installation was a piece of cake, thickness is snug but slides in easily. Build quality is outstanding. As a bonus this swap eliminated a slightly musty odor I've experienced for a while. Two thumbs up!

These days, it is cheaper to have your truck serviced (oil/fluids) than it is to do it yourself (unless you get lucky finding the oil and filter at ridiculous prices, and don't mind the time and effort etc). It does seem that every time (without fail) I go to have my truck ('21 RAM 5.7L 4x4 crew) serviced, I'm informed I need a new cabin filter. Well, to be fair, I live in Florida, and it can get nasty, we are (seemingly always hot) and the AC runs non-stop. I have a tough time believing my filter is always dirty. But even so, this filter fits it exactly (snug, no looseness, not too tight, the door cap closed just right). Its washable when needed, and I trust K&N. I'd also note that my cabin air-flow (AC and heat) has been better and seems to work more efficiently (bonus!) It comes with a sticker to put on your filter door letting (whoever) know not to mess with it, it is NOT a disposable filter. After only two or even three changes, this would have paid for itself and have plenty of life left. This was an easy decision I should have made a couple of years ago.
