Loowan Ideal Spectacular Magic Super Gift Magic Set Fantasy Show

I purchased this magic set for my son's 7th birthday. He was super excited about it and quickly learned several of the simpler tricks. The pieces of the kit are good quality. The cape is a really cool prop and my son loves it, as he loves dressing up and really makes him feel like a real magician. The problem is, he is unable to do a lot of the tricks, because the "easy to read manual" is quite illegible. Half of it is written in another language, but the English portion of the manual doesn't make any sense either. It's clearly written by someone that doesn't understand the English language. An example: "Tape pull out of the a, COINS disappear (pictured), the front, end of the clip on his left index finger a and middle finger, with their thumband hold, this action should naturally cann. - ot let the audience found and hidden , the arm to springback line". Yes, that's actually one of the steps of the trick! Makes absolutely no sense. The manual does have full color pictures which help with some of the easier tricks. The DVD that comes with it really doesn't help either, since that is in another language also. This kit seems to be missing the coin, for the disappearing coin trick. That being said, he is enjoying the kit, and has been playing with it a lot! He's having a blast teaching himself some of the tricks and playing with everything. He has mastered the dice trick that comes with it, and it's a really neat trick! But since the set has it's flaws, I have to give it only 3 stars.
