Premium Duck and Swan Food, 3 Litre

Great big bucket of duck food! Lasts a good while, even when throwing liberal handfuls out to the ducks on our walks. I can't comment on the taste (despite the suggestion from Amazon when writing) because it's not something I've been inclined to have a nibble on myself, but the ducks seem to really like it!

I’ve been getting the 3 litre tubs, pretty good value and the swans and ducks seem to love it. The ducks have been bringing their babies for food each day and it’s been a joy to watch them grow.The container itself is also good quality, when empty it can be used for other things,useful for storing cleaning products in as it has a good carry handle.

Packed in a handy tub and easy to take to the park. The ducks loved it, so did swooping seagulls. Also a pigeon or two brave enough to sit of edge of bucket and help themselves. I never seen so many feathered friends appear at once.

The cardboard package was handed to me by the courier and there did not appear to be any damage. However, on opening the box one of the plastic containers was broken and the pellets inside spilled out amongst the plastic shards so unusable.

Bought mainly to feed the swans in my local park and along the river which feeds into it. Also seems popular with the various ducks, geese, gulls and (greedy) coots. I did come across a couple of swans down river who had absolutely no interest whatsoever in these pellets. One swam straight past and barely gave it a glance, the other came over for a look and decided it wasn’t for them. Strange as the others seem to recognise me approaching, swim straight over and can’t get enough, as they had just done in the park! I would buy it again as it’s a handy quantity at an affordable price and the sturdy tub is handy for storage. However, I’ve just bought a bigger quantity in a bag by another brand as it's more economical and I’d like to compare how the birds receive it.

Definitely wouldn't recommend this if you want to feed cygnets or ducklings. The ducks seemed to just about managed to eat the pellets after they had soaked a bit but the size of this seems more suited to bigger birds - the swans couldn't get enough!

This food is a different make to the one I usually buy. I thought I would try it as it was priced cheaper. The swans and the ducks dont seem to like it very much. The pellets are larger than usual and although they float well on the water the swan and ducks seem to leave them rather than go into a frenzy to eat them. My view only
