Have to set up on same side as player but this is great for drills or even mini tennis for the ball tossed. Has to be on one side of the net we can’t get it adjusted to shoot further. It does have limits but the price point and portability make this a winner. My daughter can easily carry this with her other gear. Even holds the balls. Very easy to set up of course battery powered depending on how much you use can take a lot of batteries.

I bought this machine but the balls only came out at a very limited range and it did not allow me to make my shots. It turned off after 3 minutes of using it and does not allow the batteries to be recharged. I think it is not a good product. I do not recommend it.

Going to try and give you the most honest review as possible here - I’m actively trying to practice tennis a few times a week, I'm a 3.75. I was skeptical of this from other reviews and vids, but a popular tennis coach has been using one so it gave me some faith. If you’re looking for the most realistic gameplay setting, you have to turn the dial to 4, the other dials are very soft bounces and haven’t found use in using those settings yet. With it on dial 4, it’s actually pretty good, if I’m being picky, if it added 1-2 more inches (pause) to its bounce then it’d be perfect. I had to play around with the angles and distancing a bit, but once I got it figured out it really turned out to be a great thing to buy. I just bought the extension rack so now I can hit about 20-25 balls in one go.Yes it needs batteries, and takes 4 D.It’s very portable/lightweight, however I feel like I could break it by dropping it, it’s toy product plastic.All in all, if you’re looking to improve your game then this is definitely a good place to start compared to the expensive ball feeders.

I was looking for a machine to 'toss' the ball. Something similiar to a coach tossing a ball for a backhand or forehand. This machine does this perfectly.I bought the other manufacturer's extra ball feeder. It can now handle 25 balls at a time. Absolutely perfect.If you're looking for something to fire the ball from the opposite baseline... this isn't going to be for you. Nope, dig into your wallet for another $1500 for that machine.

Like another reviewer mentioned this machine does NOT work for all pickleballs. I play with Franklin X-40 balls and they were too big for this machine. I dremmeled out bigger entrance and exit holes like the other reviewer did to make it work. Don't buy unless you are prepared and committed to make some modifications. Know that this machine gently lobs the ball but it's better than nothing.

I got this as a ball launcher for my aussie! It doesn’t go far enough for him even on the 4th level so I am returning. BUT if you’re using it as a launcher to practice hitting for tennis or related sports I think it would serve the purpose fine! That’s my unprofessional opinion! :)I like that it can be plugged in or take batteries, and can hold several balls at a time!

This product tosses balls maybe 10 feet from the device itself… ok we could have worked with that.. but it was so loud! My dogs were scared of it! I returned it.

I am totally disappointed. Like someone else on the reviews said, this is not for players, but probably for pets. No speed in the launching whatsoever. So this is money on the garbage bin.
