Outstanding 120w Foldable Solar Panel
Due to the huge increases in electricity costs i decided to research solar power generation. I came across the ELECAENTA 120w foldable solar panel and decided to order the product to see how it performed. When the solar panel arrived i was immediately impressed by the overall build quality of the device. It looks and feels super premium - the fabric casing feels tough and durable and the protected solar panels equally appear extremely well made. The solar panel is 4 way foldable and collapses into a briefcase size shape. When unfolded the 4 solar panels are supported by two Velcro kickstands. I wasn't sure if these would be strong enough to hold the panel at the correct angle, but they worked just great. Set up of the solar panels takes literally seconds, unfold, place into position and plug in your USB device - voila instant free power! You even get 4 x carabiners to hang the panels from hooks. At the rear of the solar panel is a zip pocket containing a USB charger, 1 x USB A QC 3.0 and 1 x USB C. The USB C socket is a 45w PD charging output, which supports fast charging of certain devices. Also included is a bunch of DC barrel connections for various types of laptops & other DC input devices. Also included is a DC to MC4/XT60 cable, this enables you to connect the panel directly to a solar generator. The panel also has a bunch of safety feature built in such as overcharge protection and short circuit protection. The company really have thought of everything here. I was super impressed! So how did the product actually perform? Well it really did exceed my expectations - so much so i bought a second one! In full sun the solar panel was outputting around 86w into my Bluetti EB55. Connecting both of the ELECAENTA solar panels in a parallel connection (lead needs to be purchased separately) inputted around 120w of power into my generator. I appreciate that each of these panels are rated at 120w but you are never going to get the full 240w of power - there are lots of factors which may effect the solar generation of any solar panel, including the position/angle of the panel to the sun, haze in the sky, smoke, clouds etc. I have tested several different devices on the panel and all charged exceptionally well. My Samsung S22 Ultra displayed 'super fast charging', my ipad charged great, i even charged a set of NP-FP 90 batteries in a charging bank (see pictures), along with my electric toothbrush! The panels are also Monocrystalline which is a better technology than Polycrystalline, these panels also have a conversion rating of around 24% which is extremely good. The solar panels are also water resistant, although you should not allow the USB charging station at the rear to get wet. I would not be using these in damp/wet conditions anyway. In summary i think the ELECAENTA 120w solar panel is an amazing piece of kit! It's is super satisfying knowing you are getting free power from the sun! There are so many uses for this product, free home charging, off grid charging when you are camping or at the beach... the list is almost endless! I did have a small tech issue with my second panel but speaking with ELECAENTA customer support resulted in this being resolved super quickly and without issue - the after sales customer support from this company is superb! So do i recommend this product to others? Without hesitation it is a huge YES from me! Every household should have one of these solar panels - they are portable enough for you to take around with you and provide excellent fast charging capabilities - in my opinion this really is a premium product! I hope that you found my review helpful.

Bigger than I was expecting, but I'm delighted.
I must admit that I thought I was buying something that could fit in my pocket and charge a couple of portable phone booster batteries when I went camping, as it appeared alongside such devices when I was browsing while on a dog walk. When this briefcase sized slab arrived and kept unfolding and unfolding, bringing a glorious solar charging array to my back patio, I was bemused. It is however a really great bit of kit and already a part of my camping gear. For those hoping to use indoors, its probably going to be a bit big to fit on a windowsill, the panels do have a kick stand on the back but you'd need quite a long window sill to fully uncurl the array (I've photographed it unfolded with an AA battery on the floor in front of it for size comparison). I also popped it on a USB voltage/amp tester with a USB load tester module attached and got a steady 1 amp at 5 volt on an moderately overcast/cloudy day (See pictures). I'm sure it could put out more juice, but that's what I was hoping to draw from it so I'm delighted. The panels came with a selection of cables to connect up to a variety of different power banks, and some swappable power jacks of various sizes, although I admit I'm only interested in the USB trickle charging of some mobile devices while off grid. I did note that there is a zippy pouch on the back panel that allows the cables, adaptors and hanging hooks to be stored with the device and the zippy pouch also protects the USB ports on the master panel from the wind. When folded back into slab mode, it has a handy handle on the top, although I'm still storing mine in the cardboard box it came in for that extra protection. A serendipitous purchase on my behalf.

Seems impossible to get 120W in UK
This seems a well made, sturdy piece of kit with more than enough leads and adapters. It weighs more than I expected but folds well and is easy to carry with the handle. The legs are a real nuisance as one will close while you're putting the other up, it would be nice if these could be made to stay up somehow. The carabiners are a nice touch but I wouldn't fancy hanging this up on anything you'd take camping due to the weight. In my back garden in London on a partially sunny summer day I'm getting anything from 15-45W charge depending on clouds according to the portable power station. Left out most of the day just facing up (I appreciate not ideal but didn't have time or space to keep moving it) it fully charged the 250Wh power pack over 2 decent July days (not 2 hours as I might hope). The most I've ever had was 63W in full sun 35ยฐ heat in mid August in Oxfordshire at around 1-2pm with it angled to face the sun - which is a bit disappointing given how strong the sun felt. Note: The power station will only charge max 65W from the DC input, so maybe the 63W is related to that even though it was not actually inputting 65W. But in full sun in the garden we've never had close to it before. If it gets close to 65W again I'll plug an additional device in via USB-C and update if that charges too. But it does the job and it was at least matching the 50W the coolbox was draining from the power station between 10 and 4ish, with 2 or 3 adjustments a day to face the sun, plus I'd fully charged that and some smaller power packs before our trip for free using this panel, which kept us going. Hopefully we will get some more free power out of it at home this year too, although the fact it isn't fully waterproof makes me a bit nervous of leaving it out unless we're home to rescue it from rain. Durability unknown as I've only had it a month and used a dozen times or so. Will update if any major problem. So while I'm disappointed with what power we got on an unusually sunny day for something that claims to be 120W and is huge, it's...OK. But not amazing.

Brilliant Solar array that works
Came back to buy again! Loved these so much that I purchased another. Daisychained together charges all my devices and battery packs super fast and they have yet to disappoint. Initially purchased for a camping trip it kept our off-grid set-up nicely powered up and I wasn't left without charge in the phones or lights at all. Even on the cloudy days. I also used it to charge a battery so that we had power at night and it was a system that worked well. Now we are back at home I am using it regularly to keep devices charged and am delighted with how efficient it is. It charges quickly and brings things to 100% - I even had it charging two Chromebooks at the same time. Good range of adaptors, easy to carry suitcase design. Convinced me to install solar panels on my house - it is that good!

Great Solar Panel
Absolutely first class, great build quality, range of cables supplied. Stands up is stable. I bought this to take my shed off grid and lower costs now that the good weather is here, very easy to use. and to charge my Eco flow river 2 pro. I live in NI and was surprised that most times i used it i am getting roughly 100 to 110 watts i have also gotten 130 a couple of times. Now i understand there will be a drop of but i was still am getting 45 to 50 in the overcast conditions. Great panel only wish they had a 160 w one for even faster charging

Not as description!!!!! Is far below expectations.
The advertised 120W output is misleading. Even when connected to an Anker SOLIX 1000 power station, which supports solar input of up to 600W, the panel delivered a maximum of only 55W. This was measured under ideal conditions with direct sunlight and a clear blue sky, both in Spain and the UK. Based on my experience, the advertised 120W rating does not reflect the panelโs real-world performance.

So far so good!
I've just started using the panel so can't comment on durability, but initial impressions are good. Hooked up to a Bluetti EB77 I was getting 100W charging on a cool but clear day in early May, which is decent performance for the UK! The unit seems good quality, supplied accessories and cable pack are very versatile, and the built-in USB is a great bonus. I use it to charge a couple of USB power bricks when I don't want to haul the Bluetti around. It's great for keeping phones, tablets and other small devices charged on camping trips. Very happy overall so far.
