You can choose how to use based on your preferred oral care routine Brush only: Press Brush, change speed (low/high) by pressing the Speed button Water Floss only: Press Floss Brush + Water Floss: Press Brush, then press Floss

Are replacement brush heads available?

Two sizes of Genuine Waterpik Sonic-Fusion brush heads are available. The unit comes with both sizes 1 Sonic-Fusion Full-Size Brush Head (SFFB-2EW) 1 Sonic-Fusion Compact Brush Head (SFRB-2EW) For best performance, replace every 3 months.

Is the toothbrush battery operated? Does the flossing function require electric power?

Brush mode uses battery power; Floss and Brush + Floss modes use electric power (required for water flossing) The power handle charges in the base of the unit To detach for hose-free brushing or travel, press the round button on the power handle base

What water pressure setting should I use? Is this product suitable for sensitive gums?

Waterpik water flossers are safe and effective on all settings. First time users or those with sensitive gums should start at the lowest setting. As your gums strengthen over time, increase the pressure to the highest setting that feels comfortable.

Is this product easy to clean and maintain?

Yes, reservoir is removable & top rack dishwasher safe (air dry or turn off heated cycle). Monthly: Add 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts warm water to reservoir and run through unit. Rinse by repeating with a full reservoir of warm water.
