So pleased I bought this book. There are exercises and stretches for my dog,she seemed pleased of the attention.Colourful pictures (500) and very straight forward to follow.Some activites needed props but we just improvised and used a beanbag (instead of expensive inflatable bone) then we used rope toys instead of lots of plastic sticks to walk over.(this gets the dog used to thinking about placing back feet) all activities are easy to follow and well thought out. A few of the stretches are a bit like tai chi (strike a pose and hold) The book has four different levels of how hard an exercise is which is good to see. Each exercise focuses on different parts of conditioning for your dog.The book focuses on five components flexibility, balance,stamina,co-ordination and strength.I think the book is suitable for all dogs of all ages....and reduces risk of injury/joint problems in the future.Its very good to read all the tips as it recommends warming up before trying any exercises this is very important so not to injure your pet! Easy to read and digest any information. Kyra Sundance really does know a lot about canine fitness.Overall i highly recommend this book- my dog seems pleased with it too!

Good book if you have a dog gym or a lot of space and equipment. The reality as someone living in a small house without anywhere to store all the equipment needed is that I can't really do any of the exercises as almost everything needs equipment which takes up a lot of space.
