Lucky Peach Issue 19: Pho

Love what David Chang has brought together in Lucky Peach. I love pho and never would have thought about making it at home. Now I have some great recipes to tackle it, and have learned so much through this issue about the history and development of an iconic dish, and the differences between northern and southern approches, eh oh helps me to interpret the different phos I get at local shops. This is a great issue.

Good recipes in this issue and, as always, super weird and interesting art. I love that Andrea Ngyuen was part of this issue - A pho issue wouldn't be complete without her input. Love the history and illustrations

I just love Lucky Peach, plain and simple. And I love pho. This is an incredible issue - loving their writing style and illustrations.

I have subscribed to Lucky Peach since the very beginning and this is my favorite issue ever. I read every article, some made me laugh, some made me cry and some made me want to get into the kitchen and get at it. I love how this issue takes on the theme of Pho and approaches it in so many ways. More of this!

Cool magazine with beautiful illustrations and nice readings. The Pho issue is a monographic about the Vietnamise noodle soup. It has articles about Pho seller life stories, Pho herbs & spices identification, a cultural history of Pho in Vietnam... and of course, some recipes. I enjoyed it.

Excelente revista!!!! Imprescindible para estar al día en la cocina a pie de calle. De ámbito mundial. El diseño, las ilustraciones y los artículos son una pasada. Me encanta.
