Streetwise Athens & The Greek Islands Map - Laminated City Center Street Map of Athens, Greece: City Plans

Streetwise Athens & The Greek Islands is compact and rugged. It's laminated surface is proof against wrinkles, creases, and spilled wine. It's compact size makes it an easy fit in purse or jacket pocket. It also features enough detail to make wayfinding a snap. We were in Athens for about a week and referred to this map many times. It never led us wrong. When I ordered it I was a little uncertain, because the online photograph didn't provide much detail.. So, when I finally got my hands on this map, I was very pleasantly surprised. Maps, in my opinion, are somewhat a matter of taste. What works for one person, may not be ideal for another. What I can say, is that this map worked very well indeed for me.

The map would otherwise be fine for a different city but the street names in Athens are so long and the roads are so curved I found it impossible to read the small print. We got another map that had the landmarks and some of the main streets without the detail. It wasn’t great either but it gave us a better sense that we were heading in the right direction.

Came across this map when looking for the Berltz pop up map for Athens - alas there is no up to date one so chose this one. Appears robust and up to date cannot wait to use it this summer

We buy one of these maps for every trip we go on. They are very helpful and because they are laminated, they don’t wrinkle or bend

Dommage, il manque tous les noms des petites ruesLe plan contient un plan général du centre ville avec les principaux monuments, du Pyrée, de la Grèce et du métro, ainsi qu'un index des rues. Mais comme il manque beaucoup de noms des rues sur les plans, cela fait qu'il ne peut servir que pour visiter sommairement la ville
