Nothing negative to say about this. If you need a reliable grab bar in your bathroom, and you don't want it to look like your average ad hoc, drug store mobility aid, Moen definitely proves that ADA compliance can also be stylish.The bar has a good heft, is easy to install, and looks attractive. Moen doesn't make a grab bar in every style, but, fortunately, the Brantford design looks of apiece with other Moen designs such as Banbury, Dartmoor, and Weymouth. Only a really persnickety eye would bother carping about their differences.As with all ADA compliant grab bars, you have to install this into the studs for it to be safe. Fortunately, as long as one of the three screws behind each escutcheon is anchored to the stud, the installation is considered "secure." (Obviously, more than one is always better.)Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. No buyer's remorse here.

Like looks

The product looks well made and all, in fact from a design standpoint it is better than a grab bar I previously installed where I could barely get to the screws themselves. However, not sure if instructions on pilot hole are whack or my studs are just very tough to get through, but with screws provided had very tough time installing properly. Had to pull them back out and try to drill pilot hole deeper and/or slightly bigger. In this process I stripped all the screws some to the point that I could no longer remove them without special tools to extract. Self-drilling screws and/or a hex-head screw would have been much better for this project. Also, step six is take out the pilot screws to remove the bar. At step 6 everything is installed and pilot screws can be difficult to get to. Additionally with the tool provided to remove set screws, torque required to turn some of them and get them off far-exceeded my ability with the space provided so close to wall. Would have been better if this step was given after you pick your spot and mark your placement of pilot holes and done before installing the bar on the wall. Felt like what should have been a 30 minute job turned into multiple hours just because of the provided install screws and set screws and the instructions which could have been better.

Extremely nice-looking high-quality safety bars for the shower or bath that look more like high end towel bars. Very impressive.

Very fucvtional

I have 3 of these used vertically for entrance to porch, front door and balcony. Bought them to match existing hardware so it really looks integrated. Although I purchased them for my husband, I find myself and guests often use them.I recommend them highly!

We needed a shower grab bar for the bathroom and Moen provided the type that we were looking for. Installation of the shower grab bar doesn't require a lot of extra tools or an engineering degree to install. Impressed with the sturdiness of the product and how nice it matches the fixtures in the bathroom.
